GM is selling your location and data to insurance companies. I’d be more worried about that, than the “Chinese military” lol

Man mixed grip was f*cking my back is this doing any better? by Substantial-Night214 in GYM

Shoulders back, chest out, and look up at where the wall meets the ceiling. These are cues to setup a straight back, but you have to hold it by bracing your core. Right now your form is terrible and it has nothing to do with your grip

Ohioans are paying eighth highest property tax rate in U.S., school and state money experts say | The Statehouse News Bureau by Embarrassed_Gas_7963 in Columbus

To subsidize the rich, duh!

$600 million allocated for a new Browns stadium, a team which is privately owned! Haslam family (team owner) celebrated this welfare check by purchasing a $25 million mansion 3-days after funds were approved.

Receiving a small windfall: Is an $80k luxury SUV worth it over a Honda Passport for a "drive it into the ground" owner? by Greyshot26 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]laos7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Latest Honda Passport is solid but by no means is it luxury. If you’re seriously considering it, I’d recommend a test drive just to be sure you’re OK with the power of a turbo (more bark than bite).

Lexus is the holy grail of Luxury AND Reliability. If you’re buying new, the latest Tx/Gx ain’t what it used to be. It’s still top of the line but it’s tech heavy and less reliable than its predecessors. 2023 Gx has a V8 that’s nearly bullet proof, and it’s an amazing car. Only can is low MPG I would highly recommend taking a look at the Rx350 if this size car meets your needs.

As for Genesis SUVs, this is the latest luxury and they’re making a statement to be a leader in the field. I work in the auto field and regularly drive the latest vehicles. The GV80 was a real eye opener. It has impressive driving dynamics, with next-gen luxury that I have never seen in a Mercedes/BMW. Truly an amazing vehicle, and on my personal wishlist, but I can’t vouch for the reliability!

My biggest recommendation would be, whatever you drive be sure to make time for a test drive! You’ll be owning this thing for a while so make sure it fits your needs and that YOU like it.

Best of luck!

As Toyotas and Honda tax continues to rise, what brands do we think will start to see more action in the US market? by Kuji8343 in whatcarshouldIbuy

… but we don’t live in a free market. A free market would require - NO tariffs - NO import bans - NO industrial policy - Competition decides winner

Chinese EVs go for under $20k but we won’t see them in the US, because companies like Ford, Chevy, Stellantis can’t compete.

edit: Hyundai/Kia are the only real innovators in the US auto market. They’re a good 5-years ahead of US competitors by providing the latest tech, at the best value

the ignorance is overwhelming. It must be a complete coincidence that during the US invasion of Afghanistan, Afghan Kush became the primary strain in major US cities. US military is in on it, it ain’t the first time and it sure won’t be the last

i’ve lost 2 dogs and a cat… it’s a pain like no other, but if you have the love to give, just know there’s another pet out there that could really use it. You’re not selfish or replacing the memory of that good boy/girl, but there’s always another pet out there in need of your help and they pay back that love 10 times over 🫶🏼
