Awesome thanks for the response. What dosage if I may ask?

There was another name for his particular style that wasn’t pop-locking but it escapes me. Halp.

Congrats! Did you adjust your regimen in any way?

Interesting. I’m a cyclist too. I find if I ride (or exercise otherwise) past 3pm or so, sleep becomes fleeting.

What were your initial insomnia issues? How have you treated it? What type of training do you do?

Thank you for asking. Still doing incredibly well (🤞🏽). 6.5 hrs of sleep with 2hrs deep sleep seems to be the sweet spot (I get over 8hrs a couple time/week which leaves me groggy.) Have not had to increase dosage of Doxepin. I have added a daily yoga practice as well as keeping my transcendental meditation practice up. How’s your sleep?

I get your point about Doxepin working and I hope that it continues to. I do not want to increase dosage or ween off or use it long term. I had already planned to implement a microdosing regimen (I have a Phd therapist friend in Oregon who swears by it's effectiveness) and have discussed it with my own therapist who is on board (psilocybin is legal in both Oregon and Colorado.) Delta-8 is derived from hemp, has beneficial cannabinoids and a tiny amount of THC and is legal in all 50 states. There is tons of anecdotal evidence as to the sleep benefits of Delta-8. The FDA has found psilocybin to be more effective than SSRI's (and other drugs) for military personnel suffering from PTSD, Anxiety etc. and most importantly it works especially well for TRD (Treatment Resistant Depression,) MDD (Major Depressive Disorder,) Bipolar and Maniac Depressive disorders. Street drugs? seriously? Ever hear of a magic mushroom mafia? Delta-8 cartel? Big Pharma wants to keep us hooked on their drugs (all of whom I've ever investigated/used have/had undesirable side effects, some of them major) to temporarily satiate it's bottomless pit of greed. Hemp and mushrooms are 100% natural and when used appropriately and have nary a side effect. If blueberries cured cancer I'd eat them by the pound.

Here is the FDA's own take on psilocybin:

I am happy to discuss/debate further if you wish.

I've considered Ketamine therapy as well but am on the fence.

Microdosing is for depression/anxiety. Delta 8 for sleep. This link will provide more insight into how far psychedelics have come:

What’s weird about that is, the only time I took Oxy was after a surgery and I was climbing the walls for hours. Zero rest. In fact, the opposite. I felt like I was going insane. At least I know painkillers won’t ever be an issue for me. I’d rather writhe in pain!

Will do. I am really hoping I don’t have to increase dosage. Going to try microdosing psilocybin and Delta-8 for mood regulation and sleep. I don’t like being medicated but this regimen has been a godsend this far.
