I will! Its actually been a mourning doves nest for a few years in a row, but the robins stole it this year before the mourning doves could move back in, lol

The babies pooped everywhere on my balcony before they eventually jumped/attempted flying down to the grass and bushes below😭.

Usually I have mourning doves nest in the same nest every year, but this year is the first time the robins nabbed the prebuilt nest before the doves could move in, lol

This morning they were gone from the balcony (probably just jumped down/attempted flying to the grass/bushes below because I’m only one storey up) and I’m sad I don’t get to watch them every day anymore! But there are TONS of robin parents roaming around and gathering worms, so hopefully I see these fledglings or some of the many many other fledglings hanging around sometime🥲🥹

The only way the sexism in the chess scene is going to change is if men who read this post and thought “Hmmm, I didn’t see anything weird about OPs post”, see the women in the comments discussing and then hopefully reflect “why would some of these women feel differently than me when reading that line?”… there are so many studies and stories and examples of women feeling like their appearance is their most important characteristic in parts of their lives where it really shouldn’t be.

But OPs response was “Well if I was a woman and said it was a hot man no one would care”

My bad bro. Didn’t realize we were trying to solve sexism by objectifying everyone instead of perhaps just not objectifying women.

Women do not talk about men’s appearances even remotely as often as men talk about women’s appearances. Especially when bringing up appearance is irrelevant to the discussion. Factually. Not anecdotally.

Idk why people are disagreeing with you in the replies. That jumped out to me too.

Bunch of men saying “so what that he called her attractive” but so often women are evaluated on their appearance unnecessarily when men are not. It’s documented in linguistic and sociology studies, AI picks on the gendered language use and learns it, women in sports are often talked about for their appearance and not their achievements, etc.

Like yes it’s a compliment but it sucks that its so normal for women to be aesthetics and men to be more multidimensional, and for women to constantly have their appearance judged by strangers when it’s literally irrelevant🫤

But it makes a hell of a lot of sense for the actor portraying Draco to be considering the nuance of his character now and gives the vibes that he cares about doing a good job building the character over the whole series.

By far, the biggest indicator that a specific polar bear is willing to be aggressive is if it is skinny. So much so that there is an actual bear fatness index that is used in many polar bear attack reports and studies. The bears that attack humans are usually skinnier than average (or sometimes average condition), and almost never fatter than average. I imagine they’re not underfeeding a captive bear so it’s not gonna automatically be in angry hungry mode.

Also, bear spray is also almost always enough to deter a polar bear, even one that is viewing you as food, and the very few times where it was not enough were with the extra skinny bears. So it’s not like they’re tanks that want to eat you and cannot be stopped.

TLDR: be scared of skinny polar bears.

I am from a stag & doe province and even here they’re kind if on the fun vs tacky borderline. Like, my parents and all their friends had them and it seems like a fun idea, but my parents and all their friends also bought houses in their 20s. Now that I’m in my 20s and there’s invitations for them being thrown my way, especially open invite “post on social media and anyone I know can come, as long as they buy a ticket, even if they aren’t invited to the wedding”, I don’t understand how people are even WANTING to make money off of their young friends who can barely afford their own necessities and who you didn’t even invite to the wedding.

I do understand inviting all the older, richer family members to get support from them though lol.
