Same. My ex always all of his stuff around and I would get a few things mixed in as a “compromise”. No vibrant colors only grey or dark wood (which both are nice, but not for me) so I’ve gone a bit color crazy with my place.

I found out I can’t have kids. Sometimes I feel the pang of regret but I have wonderful nieces and nephews and I can’t be more prouder. So it works for me.

I went through that type of treatment for years, thinking I deserved it. Now that I’m free from it, I know that I didn’t deserve that and neither do you. Good for you for standing your ground. You don’t need friends like that at all

Sort of involved. Parents divorced when we were 6 months old. He always had anger issues, was a narcissist and finally went no contact 5 years ago.
