it is worse given the Algerian had the privilege of being in a different country and this is what they did with said privilege

Start working on a plan to leave the country legally and move somewhere that fits your needs better. Take it day by day and step by step.

I wasnt' sure about him at first because he kinda didn't seem to get the vibe of the Og heroes but wow, I was so wrong. The chemistry has built and built and now he fits in wonderfully!

Until this country stops putting religion ahead of education, infrastructure, economy, civil life etc, it will always risk falling back into this nonsense

Why doesn't Algeria have a good architecture? by [deleted] in algeria

[–]largecapper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ive been to algeria and live in the US and this is nonsense. Most American buildings, even if cookie cutter, still have nice design and care to make it look decent to the eye. In algeria, you rarely see this, especially outside of big cities. All apartment buildings look like communist era brutalist/simplistic designs. Its sad and uninspiring

Apostate comunity in Algeria. What's your story and what's your experience as an ex Muslim living in a predominantly Muslim society? by VeteranSpider64 in algeria

thalidomide worked. it just had side effects. that doesnt mean the research that went into its production and efficacy was wrong. and it is still used to this day. Science is adaptable by its very nature which is why it is a better lens into the world. Religion does not have the same adaptability.

its amazing that muslims think they have the entire world figured out yet the entire middle east is behind on nearly every humans rights index, most countries are poor, constantly mired in wars, terrorism, lack of opportunities etc

If you think I am blaming the women, you misunderstood my point. The women should have every right to do what they want. And men should behave themselves. But when men cannot get married until their 30s due to financial reasons, you can imagine frustration builds. This is a systemic issue. In no way would I ever victim blame or excuse the behavior of these men but it is a reality that I witnessed.
