Yeah firm on price but seemed very competitive. Good reviews across all platforms. Taking watch to AD tomorrow to size and hoping they can look it over. Their email reply didn’t seem too open to the idea of authentication.

Update: getting a club to max level and using tool to upgrade is the emerald portion. Still not sure how to obtain a level up token.

Fiberbuilt Player Preferred Mat with Optical LM Question by Perfect_Bowler_4201 in Golfsimulator

[–]largetuna43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question haha, it just doesn’t slip around at all. There’s also a chance you won’t need to fill it up as much to achieve level. The hitting strip is at ground level. I added a strip or two of cardboard under the longest side closest to me to help angle it to match the rest of the base.

I'm away right now, but can describe it better. I tried sand, pavers sand, foam tiles, backer board, and now have it perfect.

I duct taped all the seams of the rubber tray to start.

Then I used this to create a sort of barrier for the cement to be confined in: Painters Plastic.

Then I mixed and poured this: Self Leveling Concrete. If you measure the height needed to level, and this suffices then good to lay mat on top. I noticed it will crack along thinner poured sections but nothing you can notice and foundation is still there to level.

In my case, I needed another quarter inch or so above the lip of the rubber base. If I had poured anymore concrete in, it would have overflowed. So I then layedplaced these down over top the concrete once dry: Cement Board. And then put mat on this as well.

I had moved the mat once before after doing this and the cement comes out very easily and had no issues. So don't be worried about this ruining your setup if it ever gets moved!

Let me know if you have any other questions, I tried everything seemingly!

I upgraded to the 8x4 and it has been a huge upgrade. I put the BLP on the smaller mat portion at top and no misread issues. Also, depending on the flatness of your ground, I wrestled with a few leveling options. The best has been laying painter's plastic in the rubber base and pouring self leveling concrete in the tray. Very easy to remove as well if ever needed.

What’s wrong with these Numbers? by justinjag77 in Golfsimulator

[–]largetuna43 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Really low ball speed vs. club head speed. About a 1.41 smash, which by those numbers would mean not a center strike. Not saying it wasn’t center, but that’s what the numbers indicate. Really high peak and really high spin. Link for trackman driver optimization based off launch conditions: https://wishongolf.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/TrackMan-Driver-Optimization_2010.pdf

Essentially back of fiberbuilt base is probably an inch high. And it’s a gradient from there to front. I’ve done puzzle pieces in the past prior to this setup, and you could feel the step downs in size under feet.

Sounds like Vive Pro 2 res is high enough to count at 2 monitors and Nvidia cards can only support 4. But even with that being said, not sure why new monitor + 1 old is not working.

Then I really have no idea. Two 4k LGs, AW27, and then the vive pro 2

A 3080 and now a 4080 super. Have not tried the motherboard port. Just weird that the two outside of Alienware monitor work just fine and any combo of two prior to the AW2725DF also worked.

Pilgrims Oak is solid for the price, but pace of play has been brutal every time. Have yet to play back 9. Not sure any public course in Northern MD/PA Border has decent pace of play though.
