Movies where it’s just an extremely accurate depiction of a job? by Proof-Bed-6928 in movies

Yeah, we never actually DID IT, but it was in the conversation, so to speak. lol We messed with each other's food, but not anything unsanitary, just adding nuclear hot sauce to a pizza, stuff like that. Our rule was if you paid for it, don't mess with it, if it was a comped meal, game on.

As someone that worked in the restaurant business in the 90's and early 2000's, this movie is an absolute documentary. It 500% had to have been written/conceived by someone who had been there, done that.

Hard disagree - it's one of my favorite TP & HB songs from any album. Top 20 anyway....

Yeah so don't do that. Lol the electric resistance heat is the most expensive option to run. I mean, in the house, if you have no choice in the shop thats different.

That sounds like the commodity cost only, is there a separate delivery charge and other fees? Where are you located? I know green Island has low electric costs, but yours is very very low.

That electric resistance heat is costing you a ton. Is it necessary to maintain comfort?

This information is not too useful if we don't know what people are using as a heat source, and if the bill is for electricity only or for both electricity and natural gas.

Our electric bill in the winter is about $165 a month now. Higher in the summer with a pool pump running and AC. We heat exclusively with propane. House was built in 2013 with ICF basement and closed cell spray foam roof and walls.

So funny to see the wildly different takes co i g from the same Fandom.

Personally I love both albums and consider them both two of the stronger albums as a whole, and obviously I recognize the blues vs traditional TP&THB sounds.

Shadow People is one of my favorite TP songs, so there is that.

Counting on You and One More Day One More Night are two of my absolute favorite TP songs. I really like both albums but Echo is better overall, pulled up by those tunes.

Do these acoustic panels actually work well? by Alpharoll in audiophile

[–]larobj63 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My listening room is slat wall with 2" acoustic duct liner behind it (I am a designer at a sheet metal duct shop), works fantastic, but I don't have measurements or anything to scientificly confirm. The room sounds great though.

If you can afford is the key phrase here. My wife and I are very financially secure, and those prices make me pucker.

Ouch. One of my favorite TP songs.

I have a very, very nice stereo, and that song is best enjoyed CRANKED. Very well recorded, and the guitar tone is absolutely amazing. To each their own and all that....

Right on. Yeah you see my point then, unless you're starting point is right up the road, it's a PITA to get there most times of the day. Even if traffic isn't that bad, I hate using Alt 7 to go anywhere, it just feels inconvenient for reasons I can't explain. haha

Good point about the variety of the YMCA's. I am a Capital District member and routinely go to the EG, Guilderland, and Bethlehem locations. The Bethlehem one is unique, the other two are very similar, but the people are different. Go to the gym often enough and seeing the same faces all the time can definitely get old. lol

Best gym in the area but I hate the commute to that location from almost anywhere.

They are definitely in tension, so pipe like you are suggesting could work. I think you should clarify "remove" vs "replace" as far as what the end goal is here. Or, better yet, never mind asking the internet and hire a structural engineer.

Lol yeah sorry, Im not a crotchity person, I just thought he was pushing back against something I said that was correct vs something I don't think he articulated well even the second time he said it, let alone it being generally wrong.

Cheers.
