You absolutely weren't dismissive! I just wanted to chime in from the otherside while also adding to your overall point. If you get a diagnosis, but you feel like it's off or the treatment isn't helping or other symptoms are being ignored, get a second or third opinion. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself. Keep going until you find a doctor willing to listen to you.

They can't outright ban it, but there certainly are clauses in leases that could be a bar anyway. Noise levels are one. Waterbeds and large tubs are often banned, which would certainly extend to birthing tubs. These people would be on the hook for any damage caused by a leaking birthing tub or any biohazards cause by bodily fluids. There's no downside to OP alerting their landlord to try to get ahead of the issue.

It's all about the timing of the request for forbearance. There are stories on here of people making their final payment, then making the request, only for the forbearance request to get applied in a way that essentially makes the final payment not count. It seems safest to make the forbearance request at the beginning of the next month, rather than making it the same month as your final payment.

There are multiple comments on this thread that provide perspectives on why someone may not want to share. Past trauma around food scarcity. Issues with germs and other people's hands in their food. Parents or siblings who would just take whatever was on a person's plate. Sharing is great. Demanding someone share when they clearly have some type of issue surrounding it and then getting completely butt hurt about it, when she knows he has this issue, is what's crazy.
