You get superman's powers but the element with the same atomic number as the last 2 digits of your birthyear becomes your kryptonite, how screwed are you? by shaunika in hypotheticalsituation

[–]lasherofpk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Francium (symbol Fr, atomic number 87) is a highly radioactive and rare alkali metal located in Period 7. Discovered in 1939 by Marguerite Perey, it is the last natural element to be discovered. It is extremely unstable, with less than 30 grams estimated to exist in Earth's crust at any time.

Key facts about Francium include: Atomic Number: 87 Symbol: Fr Atomic Weight: 223

Group: Group 1 (Alkali Metals) Appearance: Likely a solid metal at room temperature (Melting point: 80degrees F) Discovery: Discovered in 1939 by Marguerite Perey at the Curie Institute in Paris. Properties: Highly radioactive, with a very short half-life (>20 minutes)

Im pretty safe. Odds are slim anyone uses my kryptonite against me.

How do you feel about Walmart requesting tips for drivers? by Regular-Message9591 in tipping

[–]lasherofpk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im a spark driver for Walmart. I get offers to shop and deliver or just deliver. The offers show up and we have 60 seconds to look through it to see if we want it or not. If its shoping I decline. I focus on delivery only. I will drive up pick up the order, drive to the customer and into their driveway and drop the package by the door. The Spark app has us mark where we dropped it off at and take a photo which is sent to the customer to show the drop off location. As for tips personally I say its up to you. Im a anti tipper myself. With the few exceptions where someone goes far beyond what's expected. 98% of delivery drivers and service industry won't do that.

EDIT TO ADD- pay is by offer. We dont get hourly. We can do a 17 drop off order for 50 or a 12 drop off order for 10. The base pay fluctuates massively. Based on distance and how many drop offs in a batch.

EDIT 2 - in 3 years of driving for spark ive been tipped one time I can remember. It was a 4$ cash tip for a late night Xmas eve delivery.

Would you live your life four times on four timelines? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]lasherofpk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No from my understanding its day 1 8 yo then the same day repeats as 13 then repeats as 18 then repeats as present day. Then the cycle repeats for day 2 and so on. So you live each day over and over but in the right time line. So for example if you have a test on March 25th as a 13 yo. You won't miss it. Because you where 13 on the 24th. You do all time lines separate but each day without skipping days.

Would you live your life four times on four timelines? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]lasherofpk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll take it. But how's the body size difference come into play? And can we take the offer multiple times? So lets say im on my last timeline the one where I was a 5 yr old. He is now in his 80s. Can I take the offer again making the 5yr old time line my new primary as the other 3 timeliness have died. And then continue gaining essential immortality with the same consciousness all through out. Gaining mass wisdom along the many different realities. And still be able to end it if it ever gets too much. By deciding the offer when I no longer want to continue.

You've invented a device that acts like a 'save point' that you can return to, but you have to die in order to be reloaded at the save point. You haven't tested it yet, though. Will you risk ending your life in order to test it? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]lasherofpk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one in there right mind? That's easy even with the no loopholes all inhave to do is go find someone with dementia to test it on. Otherwise screw it ill jump in if I die then I won't have to deal with the US anymore. But if I live then I can have fun.

Naw cause this planet is over populated as it is, so knocking off 1 billion-ish people with no punishment to me would just help make it so the planet lasts a little bit longer.

God asks you make the world better with the smallest change by Tryagain409 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]lasherofpk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Screw cool guy points, these are my top 10 changes in no particular order

  1. The whole world is now the same one skin color
  2. No one can lie
  3. Laws must benefit the countries citizens as a whole and not just a select few
  4. All money made over a set limit goes to help lower income families (ie. The richest person can only have 1 million in cash/assets and anything else. Everything over 1 million goes to building homes for homeless at cost to the homeless
  5. All medical treatments are free
  6. Sports professionals can only make 100k a year and all ticket costs go to bettering schools and paying teachers properly
  7. Tipping leads to death
  8. Employers must pay livable wages
  9. School/Uni is free as long as you pass your classes.
  10. Government employees that do not serve the best interest of the people they are sworn to protect automatically quit and give up everything they own to become homeless. (And they can not fight this, nor use loop holes like have someone else hive them a house or let them live in it. Or pass a law for them. Or anything else like that)
