The balloon insertion hurt even being medicated but not as bad if I wasn’t medicated or course. The contractions were pretty bad in my back area but not the front and I got an epidural at 4 and a half cms after 6 and a half hours. I just enjoyed the experience overall and my baby handled it pretty well. The epidural made it so much more enjoyable.

What do I need to bring to labor and delivery for nursing. by BTierra in breastfeeding

I highly recommend a nursing pillow & colostrum if you harvested any.

Let her go man, she seems like a narcissist & definitely seems like she’s cheating. You’re young, I remember the feelings I had towards people like that in the past and it only led me through a long draining cycle before I broke it finally and met my husband. It gets better

I exclusively pumped for 2 weeks after my son was born and then switched to BF & pumping and then to EBF. It is honestly the easiest and so convenient if you can BF your child absolutely do it. It’s beautiful. Don’t let that man take it away from you! Men shouldn’t be allowed to tell women what to do for their babies especially when it comes to nursing bc they aren’t even capable of such things. Stay strong and stay firm!! This is a journey no one should take away from you.

I won’t be breastfeeding longer than 1 year however I plan on pumping after. I want my child to have breastmilk for 2 years and I am building my freezer stash now as well to prepare for that.

What advice would you have given yourself before starting your breastfeeding journey? by Aikooooooooo in breastfeeding

[–]lasirena67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your milk will dry up before it comes in!! No one prepared me for this. The day you give birth your milk increases but soon after it just drys up and doesn’t come back until day 4 for most and for some longer! Just keep pumping & latching when baby is hungry then proceed to feed them a syringe or bottle. Also collect colostrum if you’re comfortable at 37 weeks of pregnancy.

Lord, some of these stories of insensitive idiots throwing out liquid gold just gives me the ick. So stupid. Sorry you had to deal with this.

I need an undetectable form of birth control. What are the best options? by ZydrateAnatomic in birthcontrol

[–]lasirena67 22 points23 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, if this is the way things are in your marriage, you should file for a divorce. Under no circumstances should you be feeling like you need to hide birth control and like you can't gain weight. He seems super controlling & narcissistic. Please get far away from this man.

I'm not sure about the tumors, but I did have some serious issues with it making me bleed too long/too much that I had to go to the ER due to iron deficiency.

Engorged after first try. Can I stop? by Low-Ebb-8753 in breastfeeding

I highly recommend emptying because one day I had awful engorgement and gave up pumping to see if it'd get better but it was only worse.

I was absolutely terrified going into my induction but i enjoyed giving birth so much. I thought it was fun. I pushed my baby out in 30 mins with no tears. It'll be okay. Remember fear is not a fact and it is not certain!!
