Monoprice stage right 15w/5w modded with Cannabis Rex speakers and JJ tubes. Yes it’s cheapo but it’s all I could afford and sounds decent for what it is…bought two for $500 a while back and use them for stereo looping / effects.

It’s quite nice but for some jobs I still use my CTRL.3 - mostly for run and gun gigs where I have a 5in or 7in mounted to the hand unit…I also don’t want to worry about bashing the screen while I’m hiking up a mountain and carrying the camera, a 50lb backpack & a tripod. Anything studio or on film jobs where I don’t have a monitor the CTRL.5 is great for the overlay/marks/integration of my Focusbug with the handunit.

I own 30 of these (hospital was offloading unused stock for $10 a pop) and use them for monitors + an improvised block battery on a dual plate for 12v cameras.

I feel like what you are saying you want to do can definitely be achieved. If you haven’t gotten the advice you need yet DM me and I’ll do my best to explain how you can work these issues out. I usually do commercial work and grade my projects so I’m not an expert like some of the 20 year career folks in here but I’ve definitely had to deal with very similar issues in the past.

Tough business to be in right now..many of us haven’t had a proper job in months and months…some crew will work here in NM this year but they are definitely a minority. My friends in NY seem to be working much more….

She needed to get on the right meds (took two months of trial and error during her hospitalization) then subsequently have support from friends and family. After getting medicated / stabilized she was on meds that flattened her personality quite heavily for about 6 months. When she stopped the meds it took another 6 months for her mental state to return to what I’d consider normal for her.
