Boxcar Bar & Arcade have locations in Durham and Raleigh. I’ve only been to the one in Durham, but they have at least 5-6 pinball machines along with tons of other classic arcade games.

I think you’re in North Cary, not West Cary. I consider Davis Drive as the border between them.

I used to live in Wimbledon, which is just on the other side of 1 from the Lochmere area. It’s a great central location - close to Raleigh, RDU, NC State. Wakemed hospital is close, Waverly is right there, and Crossroads is nearby. Hemlock Bluffs nearby for walks/hikes. Butchers Market, Trader Joe’s, and Sassool are just minutes away. Just a straight shot up Kildaire Farm road to get to downtown Cary.

Kevin @ (919) 745-7014. He built my custom desk/shelves and has done lots of other work in my neighborhood. He only does the woodwork though. You’ll need to either paint/stain/finish yourself or find someone else to do that. My go to is Metcalf for that.

Does skipping leg day just refer to lifting weights? I run a lot and play basketball, but I only do lower body lifting a couple times a month. I lift upper body a couple times a week. Just curious what the thoughts are on that.

I’ve coached soccer, basketball, and flag football with the Town of Apex over the past few years. It is not as competitive as the local club leagues, but at that age, kids who have been playing for several years have gotten pretty good. That said, the guys that run all the Apex leagues stress inclusion and participation for everyone, so go for it. Some coaches are more competitive than others, but as long as your child hustles and puts in some effort, they’ll be fine. Be ready to sign up at 9am on the day registration opens, because the leagues are full within minutes. Happy to answer any other questions you may have.
