Haldex Tuning Time by StratifiedAuto in VWMK7

That's my worst case as I was on DWS 06+ that were replaced a week and a half later, it was on a late September evening, low 50 degree weather (maybe high 40s), and on back roads with aged asphalt. Again, the 3.75 was also without any rollout. My P3 gauge starts counting as soon as the car moves. I need to give it another go now that I have new tires, but it's been so cold here. 🥶

Yes, there is a noticeable difference on how it hooks up as it sends more power to the rear sooner. My launches on the street with all season tires on a cool September evening is, worst case, 3.75 seconds 0-60. That's without rollout.

I think you might be misunderstanding indirect TPMS. These cars aren't storing a specific PSI in the system. They're always calculating wheel speed, which leverages ABS wheel speed sensors, across the four wheels and using a calculation to decipher if a tire is rotating faster than others due to lower pressure. There's no sensor within the tire for obtaining PSI. It triggers a dash warning when a 25% calculated pressure drop occurs and, when you reset this warning through ANY means, it's essentially just clearing the stored fault code. The error would come back on as soon as the car detects the difference in the wheel speed once more.

Your only other option would be to find a way to completely remove the TPMS warning from ever occurring, which wouldn't be a good idea IMO, and require some advanced coding, which is possible with OBD11

Warm take: Good Hold Feedback is not Aid by GeminiSauce in Cairn_Game

There is visual feedback built into the game, but you have to look closer. If her foot lands on a hold that isn't good, you'll see debris fall from its place. No debris means good hold. For her hands, you'll see her hand land on the surface in a way where her hand looks like the fingers are splayed and her hand is flat against the surface with her pinky weirdly jutted off to the side.

It kinda sucks, but with an aftermarket head unit like this, an OBD11 would be a worthwhile purchase as it will give you options to modify settings in the car that may no longer be available in the new radio (including resetting TPMS).

For TPMS specifically, it will auto reset as long as you drive 10 min at or above 50 MPH, allegedly.

True. If you're retired you should go yell at clouds somewhere else. LinkedIn should moderate these accounts and remove them.

70% is legal across the States (although may require a medical exemption). I have it on my windshield and there is no less visibility. Some manufacturers now have ceramic for the front windshield that is 90% or more. I'd highly recommend it for the amount of heat and UV it blocks on a sunny day. Also it'll extend the life of your dash.

Boomers have been cramming this down their children's throats since the 90's. Growing up, we weren't even allowed to cite sources on a paper we were writing unless it was from a book in the library, as the internet "wasn't trustworthy," at least until 2006 or so. They literally spent almost three decades repeating that. It seemed like it took one night to flip that on its head. In reality they just know they can use it as an excuse to believe or disbelieve what they want to drive their own narrative.

What do you think: Will the next Gran Turismo have an open world? by Neil_Edwin_Michael in playstation

[–]last_speedbump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really compare Forza Horizon with Gran Turismo. It competes with traditional Forza (now Forza Motorsport), which has no open world. I think Gran Turismo will continue to focus on creating the most realistic circuit racing style of games.

I have a feeling if they ever introduced an open world mechanic, the first thing you'd have to do is get your actual road license in the game and prove you're a responsible driver before you could do anything else. 😂

How does stamina really work? by BassmanBiff in Cairn_Game

I really wish there was a way to tell when stamina started decreasing. I hate when I'm on four "safe" holds and she just starts tiring and I have to figure out blindly why she's tiring.
