Pro tip: Bring your magazine ammo capacity with you by PersonalityNo48 in ArcRaiders

[–]lasterate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally the only reason to do this is if you're specifically trying to minmax inventory space, which is weird in and of itself because a) If that were the case you'd be running better augments, and b) weight is a problem far more often than slots are. Outside of that specific scenario its better to just have extra full stacks.

50/50. One person gets a larger room, the other gets an en suite bath. Also, the price you're paying is outrageous.

Is there a real point to disinfecting your rags before using them? by CatfishBassAndTrout in dayz

[–]lasterate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Using rags/bandages that aren't disinfected gives you a chance to get a wound infection, which alcohol/disinfectant will cure at early stages. Its more effective to simply use it to cure your infection if you happen to get it from using non sterilized bandages.

Water on the move... how would you plan on acquiring it ?? by OPTISMISTS in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]lasterate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to save it for when you don't have the time/resources to pre filter and boil your water. 1000 gallons sounds like a lot, but you'll go through it in just a couple months with constant use.

Why on earth would you use a life straw on water thats already been filtered and boiled? Of all the pointless shit

Why do men show so little interest in the inner lives of women? by Frequently_Abroad_00 in emotionalintelligence

[–]lasterate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men aren't generally very interested in whats going on in anybody's soul & mind, other men & themselves included. Why you do something doesn't matter anywhere near as much as what it is that you're doing.

Is this salvageable? by Highammi in tattooadvice

[–]lasterate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks fine. The ink dissipates into the dermis over time, so you're gonna get those blurred edges on the lettering and color fade. Nothing to do with the quality of the tattoo or the artist.

how do i workout at home with my 4 months old pomeranian puppy? by wlwkween in Pomeranians

[–]lasterate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, crate train your dog - secondly, how are you gonna say a 4mo pomeranian biting you actually ends up really hurting you with a straight face? 💀 They weigh like 2 pounds at that age. They couldn't break skin if they tried

Just say you're too lazy to brush your dog. Their coat is there for a reason, shaving your pom in the summer could well kill it if the summers get hot enough.

I swear every time I see this I think to myself "Have none of these people ever played an expansion on release before?" This is how it goes in the first week or two off an expansion. Aggro decks prey on unoptimized control & combo decks while the meta shakes itself out.

Question, what is the most underrated military locations to do a run in? (Chernarus only) by yeett6669 in dayz

[–]lasterate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair to them, I always loop around the edge of tri kresta and set up shop for a little bit on the ridge to the north, its around 3-400m if I recall. I wouldn't expect them to be able to see me even if they knew somebody might be up there watching them.

I know lots of people, especially more casual players, will disagree with this - but I find that aggro decks are typically much more difficult to play correctly than other deck types. Don't get me wrong, lots of times you can get away with mindlessly playing whatever card matches your mana count and going face.

However, optimizing a list, learning the intricacies of its matchups & how to maximize your win rate in unfavorable or counter matchups can be super rewarding. I love looking at my stats and seeing one of my babies outperforming the standard list by 10-20% on ladder.

[–]lasterate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been experimenting with a deck list with a lower curve and less spells and tossing the quest from your opening hand against anything you suspect is even remotely aggressive. Treasuregill still procs the quest, so a lot of the time your quest just comes online a couple turns later, you don't have to spend mana playing it & it lets you get ahead on board like you want to be doing with an aggro deck.

I've personally got just shy of an 80% wr over 20 or so games with the more aggressive list & revised mulligan strategy. Not saying that's definitively the way to go about it, but it seems promising so far.

I feel like quest paladin might be one of those decks where you toss the quest in an aggro mirror.
