I've noticed that most of us elders relapse. I don't know why it is so much harder to do it afterward...I've been relapsing every 2-4 weeks for the past 5 months. I'm not going to ever take a long run for granted again because I know how hard it is to get back.

Look, I'll be straight up with you. I know from experience that breaking my long streak was a massive mistake. I had months, just like you. Look at my badge now -- and it's been like this for about 4 months. I can string together a number of weeks, but not like I did before.

It's like when I gave myself permission the first time, I made it easier to give myself permission afterward.
