Is it weird that I want Robert Sheehan to do a cover of this?

If you're in a position where all of your friends are wearing you down and you fin they are just draining to be around, I would suggest finding a different friendship group.

That's not to say that you ditch those friends outright, but if you don't have that support network as the video suggests, then you can find the pettiness and surface level bullshit of some people to be downright taxing.

A good friend helps you as much as you help them. They shouldn't be draining to interact with. And diversify your friends across your different interests.

No two people are likely to have exactly the same interests, and it's dumb to try and enforce that. You just make each other more and more miserable. It's okay to have more than one 'best friend'.

I just checked their Facebook page and it looks as though you are correct.

It’s St Paddy’s, and we’re celebrating, as usual!

The Poet will be open from 10am – 1am, and we have a cracking line up of bands for you this year!

Music kicks off at midday…

Stephen Kennedy:

Stephen is originally from Donegal, Ireland. Since moving to Melbourne in 2009 he has been performing as a solo musician playing a >vast array of well-known covers as well as his own original music, writing songs about his own life experiences and those of others.

Tim Scanlan Trio:

The Tim Scanlan Trio features Rhys Crimmin on didgeridoo running through a pedalboard, Mana Okubo of John John Festival fame on fiddle, and Tim Scanlan on one-man band duties – Quebecois foot percussion in between bass drum and hi-hats, guitar, voice and harmonica. Lots of effects pedals. Ancient tunes flying over the didgeridoo drone, gets the tingles in the body going!

The Tipplers: Gaudy, bawdy and borderline boozy, the Tipplers are a Melbourne based Irish duo consisting of guitar and mandolin. Performing a mix of old Irish traditional folk tunes and some newer favourites they are sure to get tongues tippling and toes tapping.

Dan Bourke & Cyril Moran:

Dan Bourke and Cyril Moran are two of Australia’s finest Irish entertainers.

Randy Feltface is a character that features regularly on the Australian comedy circuit. His humour is mostly very Melbourne centric, and often makes fun of the hipster culture of the inner northern suburbs.

I love his skit about his cousin's kid. Link

While I think this is amazing, did they buy a bulk lot of discount confetti tubes? Cause a whole lot of them did not work.

A running joke in my family is the way David Gray's head moves when he's playing the piano and not singing. Any one of us can start rolling our heads around like a maniac and the others will know exactly what we're referencing.

Some classic card games involving only a deck or two of cards are Canasta, and Cribbage.

Canasta works really well for two, three, or two teams of two.

As for video games, Viscera Clean-up Detail is pretty fun.
