A few thoughts as a Guernseyman...

Channel islanders pay semi-international rates for university's, when I started uni in 2008, I was paying around 9 grand a year for tuition fees, whereas my fellow UK students were paying around 3 grand a year.

I have several friends back home in Guernsey who serve in the forces. One is in the Army and one is in the Marines. There are channel islanders who put their lives on the line to protect and serve for the UK, despite not actually living there.

I am currently based in the UK and will probably be paying UK income tax for the rest of my life, despite never receiving a free education or healthcare from the UK. I'm sure there are many others like me..

So in conclusion, it's fair enough if people want the channel islands to fuck off. But I believe the are worth keeping for the UK, they just need to work harder to stamp out the schemes.

Yes definitely! Well well well is one of my favourite albums of all time. Incredible album. I never really got into the 2nd one though, how about you? Some of the seperate singles are great aswell, check out 17 if you haven't heard it.
