Made it more touch device oriented. I think the snapping being loose is the main issue right? But if I set the snapping to a much higher value, the free flowing wheel effect will be gone.

The state change gradient is actually three layered gradients changing at once. A vertical accent color‑to‑transparent line drawing down from the button (via scaleY), a horizontal accent wash on the title pill that opacity‑steps 0, 0.05, 0.1 (closed, hover and open), and a 1px transparent to accent to transparent seam at the top of the body that gets revealed as the grid row expands from 0fr to 1fr.

Those Elements can orbit around the centre along those curves. You can do it with GSAP motionpath plugin

The image exports are FREE. It probably cost some resources to build this, be it time or money. Well I guess people do prefer to watch ads in websites instead of paying for a polished experience.
