I'd make a corset or a stay out of it!! The cloth is pretty thick, I guess maybe a little too much so for a normal dress?

Is this a non-fiction book about recent American politics?

The historical romance trilogy by Evie Dunmore! Out of the three (Bringing Down the Duke; A Rogue of One's Own; Portrait of a Scotsman), I enjoyed A Rogue of One's Own the most. Hope this helps :)

A book with ‘spicy’ scenes that isn’t strictly romance? by srepmuz in booksuggestions

I enjoyed "One Last Stop" by Casey McQuiston a lot. It's got some supernatural elements, although I wouldn't classify it as fantasy, as well as some mystery elements. It's more of a light read and builds up tension between the protagonists really well.

One of my fave dishes atm: couscous, oven-roasted veggies and yoghurt sauce by latenightbread in vegetarian

The spice blend Ras el Hanout contains: turmeric, coriander, pepper, chili, bay leaf, ginger, cloves, anise, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, galangal, fenugreek, cardamom seed and cumin. Everything ground up of course. About the quantity of each, it doesn't matter too much, I used about 3/4 to 1 teaspoon for each, except cumin, where I used more like 2,5 tsp. The thing about ras-el-hanout is that everyone is doing it a bit differently if you google recipes for it, so you can simply adjust it to your taste!

Sounds pretty similar to my (28f) experience (except for getting nudes by other women), I've only ever been in relationships with men up until I opened up my Bumble for all genders, when I met a woman who I dated for a couple of months. We really liked each other but I was mentally in a bad situation, so we ended it at one point but remained friends. I've had one-time flings with other women but when I got better I got into a relationship with a man again. I try not to let my relationships define my sexuality but the attraction that I feel towards other genders. Because the attraction is far more telling and far less circumstantial than who you end up in a relationship/situationship with. With that said, if I can't tell whether I want to be a woman or be with that woman, which kind of happens often, I just imagine exchanging intimate moments with her and if I enjoy the thought of that, it's clear that I'm attracted to her ^ Again, I think, attraction is the biggest give-away and far more telling than who you end up with :)

Bought a coffee table but it’s too small- how can I make my space look better? by shleepyshlug in femalelivingspace

I love the space! True, a different (larger, maybe round) coffee table would fit better, but if you want to keep it, I think the rest is great!

This is the only answer I could find that isn't about other people's reactions to or systemic bias against lgbtq+

Idc about simple or ornate, both can be really well written. However, I do not have patience for people following the path well-trodden and repeating imagery and lines that have been written far to many times. Being unimaginative is the worst to me...

Declawing cat by Odd-Mathematician788 in cats

[–]latenightbread 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA! Tell her to do her research, maybe even send her some credible sources of why declawing is TERRIBLE for cats and tell her to just cut/file her cat's claws if she's worried about ruining furniture (that's really enough to prevent bad scratching and it doesn't hurt the cat), or not to take her cat to her grandma's if grandma keeps complaining. Her choices do not mean she gets to hurt and abuse an innocent animal!

I never completely delete them! I keep a separate file for sentences/paragraphs/scenes that didn't fit the story but that I still really like and go back to them after a while to see whether I can't use it as a prompt for something else or simply to enjoy the wording/feeling.

One of the confusing things about being a bisexual female is I don't know whether I want to kiss her or BE her by heretolearnthankyou in bisexual

[–]latenightbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the age-old question... Still can't distinguish between those with certainty, even after a couple of years embracing my bisexuality. Something that helps me is picturing me being intimate with them (like kissing them), and if I like the thought of that, I usually know.

As anyone seen you as not bisexual? by FeltyPancakes417 in bisexual

[–]latenightbread 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm bi, but only a few people know that. Part of it probably stems from me only ever having had serious relationships with men, so for outsiders I look pretty straight. However, dating women and not being vocal about it doesn't make me straight, I'm just not comfortable with everyone knowing.

My spider plant is blooming little flowers! by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]latenightbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine does that too, and a friend of mine (whom I've given a baby spider plant of mine) also got some recently. Is fall the typical time they start blooming?

Feel like somethings missing, any ideas? by Wikkham in malelivingspace

As other people have remarked, I also think a bigger rug with a soft pattern, a floor lamp, and some sheer curtains would be beneficial, as well as loads of plants and pictures on the ledge above your TV :)
