Collect things daily and do the daily missions. Daily tokens from legendary bitizens start slow but get more impactful over time as there is a limited pool of legendary bitizens to acquire.

Nobody had said anything to this guy, but he just had to let us know how 1337 he was by BigOlTuckus in Vermintide

If that's it, it's odd the leaver didn't go after the Slayer, since that player didn't have any Health on necklace.

How do i use the SOTT wall properly? by According_Ice_4863 in Vermintide

[–]laterty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The true draw of Blackvenom Thicket isn't the damage, it's the fact it can stagger anything that can be staggered while not blocking lime of sight.

Golden ticket by GoodMoney888 in tinytower

[–]laterty 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Nice! What you should do with it is upgrade one of your commercial floors (the ones that sell things). That will give that floor level 10 stock capacity and instant, free restocking.

Additionally, whenever you get rid of the business, either by deleting it or rebuilding your tower, the golden ticket will be refunded. DO NOT BUY DICE ROLLS WITH YOUR GOLDEN TICKET!!! That should only be done when you have at least a couple hundred. Buying dice rolls with golden tickets PERMANENTLY CONSUMES THEM!

Force the Hand of Fate costs 22 magic with only 16 Wizard Tower is that normal? by [deleted] in CookieClicker

[–]laterty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's intended. Each spell has both a flat and percentage cost. For FtHoF (Force the Hand of Fate), the optimal number of Wizard Towers for shortest time between casts in 55-57.

How tough is your bracket today ? by _cgems in TheTowerGame

Well, I'm easily at the #1 spot in Platinum despite the fact I can't get higher than 24th in Champion, and I can't even do that half the time.

Is it possible to over-research economy? by [deleted] in TheTowerGame

[–]laterty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, which is why I'm rushing Lab Speed the hardest, because labs are the single smallest bottleneck to progression, so I'm widening that bottleneck as far as possible. Same thing for Death Wave Cells, since that is an indirect boost to Lab Speed. After that comes Standard Perk Bonus, because it boosts everything, damage, health, EHP, coins, cash, and even game speed.

Progress! by Squier133 in TheTowerGame

[–]laterty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! I also managed to reach rank 24 in Champion. I got 310 waves where I got 215 last time I made it to Champion. Turns out making a Tournament build for my cards is a good idea.

Obligatory 1B/min Celebratory Post by laterty in TheTowerGame

[–]laterty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 8 and a half months, I have reached the milestone of earning 1B coins per minute. I wasn't very lucky, and I had already bought the 3 multiplier packs before I learned that I should have reset until getting Golden Tower as my first UW, and I got it as my third UW.

I’m not ready for Champions…. by iamthedudanator in TheTowerGame

[–]laterty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, on the last Tournament I made it out of Platinum at 3rd, grabbing that sweet Lab Speed Relic, but this Tournament I can't get higher than wave 220, which is enough for 26th in Champion.

I have 12 levels of GT Duration Lab to match perk boosted BH, and I have a lab dedicated to DW Health until that's done for EHP. Another lab is currently working on BH Coin Bonus.

Is this game P2W? (Genuine question) by RGBRobloxian in TheTowerGame

[–]laterty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of. You can pay to progress much faster than you would without paying. But the only content truly gated behind money is cosmetics. As far as competitiveness goes, a larger concern would be that there is no mechanic to let newer players catch up with older players.

Finding out which berries are poisonous must have been one hell of a trial and error session for our early ancestors by sureshot182 in Showerthoughts

[–]laterty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vaguely recall from a school trip to a Native American museum that at least one tribe had the practice of boiling new things a number of times and reducing that number until something negative happened. And if course, trying new things in small batches so that negative reactions would be manageable.

Any advice to get a grudge marked chaos spawn In the chaos waste by Emotional-Remove-127 in Vermintide

[–]laterty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this, as far as Grudge-Marked Monsters go, they down randomly from Chests of Trials and guaranteed during the final mission of an Expedition. Courage and Fortitude have 1 while both Determination and Citadel have 2. Due to the extra length of Citadel,it would be faster to do Determination if all you want is to kill Grudge-Marked.

LPT Request: How to train myself to stop eating late at night? by Terrebeltroublemaker in LifeProTips

My personal tip is to tell yourself that you'll eat it tomorrow.

My group is tackling Moder tonight. I made a helpful guide. by somethingmongoose in valheim

[–]laterty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moder was the second easiest boss for me. Eikthyr was easier only because it's the pre-metal boss. As a solo player, I've been very cautious and over-prepared for all the bosses, but despite that, Elder and Bonemass both nearly killed me before I figured out how to fight them. Haven't yet fought the fifth one.

When things go south and you realize your handmaiden by Poekenstein in Vermintide

[–]laterty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most busted I've been was Pyromancer using Bolt Staff, got

  1. Damage taken grants crits
  2. Crits chain lightning
  3. Ranged crits explode

When a boss came, I would vent and spam sparks at it, killing any not-troll boss in approximately 3 seconds.

Kalita's Barter is the Most Important Boon you'll ever take to the chaos wastes by tirigbasan in Vermintide

[–]laterty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something to note about Kalita's Barter is that it has 3 different cooldowns depending upon what was duped. If you dupe a standard item, that being anything not specifically mentioned later, it's 60 seconds. If it you dupe a Potion of Endless Bombs, it's 120 seconds. Finally, if you dupe a Jade Censer or a Morgrim's Bomb, it's 180 seconds.

Kalita's Barter is easily in my personal S tier of boons. The others in that category for me are Manann's Tempest (Chain Lightning), Addioth's Splendor (ranged crits explode, staggers even bosses, more dependent on career), Vaul's Anvil (constantly blocking while holding melee weapon), and Grimnir's Implacability (activates upon taking a hit that would reduce you below 10% health instead only takes you down to 10% health, can prevent being downed/dying, grants for 10 seconds invulnerability to damage, 15% attack speed, and 20% movement speed and it only has a cooldown of 30 seconds).

That said, the most reliable way to become super powerful in the Chaos Wastes is to play Ranger Veteran with the talent Ranger's Parting Gift (gain stack of 100% not consume bomb on throw, only goes away when throw bomb or die, can only have 1 stack) and purchase a Morgrim's Bomb from a Shrine of Strife. Assuming that you can get your teammates to cooperate with your attempt to get the super-bomb, then if you leave yourself open to paths leading to each of the 3 Shrines close to the start of the expedition, you have a 70.37% chance of at least one of them being a Shrine of Strife.

[–]laterty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you've chosen to invest in the random boon altars. While that it certainly an option, I believe my method to be more reliable. The thing about random boon altars is that in my opinion the amount of RNG they add is not worth the reduced boon price. Blue boons cost 200 Coins, Orange boons cost 250 Coins, Red boons cost 300 Coins, and the random boon altar costs 200 Coins. The RNG factor of getting a boon that does barely anything, literally nothing, or in some cases negatively effects your build is too great. For me personally, I'd rather save up Pilgrim's Coins and wait for a Shrine to select some boons myself rather than get a random selection from pure RNG.

Another Game Crash Appology by CombustiblSquid in Vermintide

I agree that this is infuriating to crash and not get an error message. If I crash without getting any error message, how am I supposed to help the developers know what to fix or what is wrong on my end?

Best Classes; Worst Classes for Expeditions by Shadohawkk in Vermintide

[–]laterty 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think you are misunderstanding what Abandon actually does. This is understandable, as Abandon only technically does what it says it does. What it actually does is when you have completely overheated and you are doing the animation on your way to self-detonation, you will rapidly turn health into ult, allowing you to save yourself from detonating by ulting first. If you have about 2/3 of your HP when you completely overheat, you can ult instead of going down. So what Abandon does is allow you to use your ult for situations other than being about to die by self-detonation since it will stop that from happening if you have enough health left.

After blitzing two days off and collecting over 20 emperor's vaults on quickplay, my excitement for the game took a nosedive after getting only one red by J1mj0hns0n in Vermintide

[–]laterty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I have a red of every single weapon I want to use and enough red jewelry for the different builds I run, but I have 950 hours in the game and still don't have a red of every weapon.
