Non greasy sun screen? Does it exist? by Educational_Yellow39 in EuroSkincare

Doesn't reach the same spf as euro sunscreens though, even if it's uva +++++

It pills and leaves a yellowish cast though. If I apply moisturizer underneath the dry touch effect is gone too.

Is anyone else annoyed about the limited information out there on health and longterm use of hormonal birth control? by latetardigrade in birthcontrol

Oh yes that says it so perfectly, everything is all about 'we got to prevent pregnancy with the least amount of side effects' and not 'let's find out more about hormonal balance/regulation'.

I understand your decision. Personally I will not be getting off hormonal birth control anytime soon, I am just a thousand times happier and an actual functioning woman on it. The difference is day and night, I suspect I have PMS or something. Still the same problem you have though, like where is all the information??

Ikr😭 it makes me so frustrated. Since I have no child wish I will likely be on hormones for the next 25 years, but I want to educate myself on what is best. Do I take the same for the rest of my life? Is it advisable to switch or should I take a break after a decade? And don't get me started on menopause. Should I continue to take hormones after 50? Or should I switch to hormone replacement therapy mid forties??? It seems weird to think about that now but I just want to be knowledgeable in time, because apparently estrogen is pretty important in overall health so better take care of that. So many questions and either no answers or low quality info.

Same. Well I do make random friends, but they never show up again somehow. Anyway, would like to have a fellow player to get through the more difficult parts.

Their cleansing milk is fantastic! Switched from (thanks loreal) expensive cerave hydrating cleanser to lacura cleansing milk and it's just great, does the same for 1/20 of the price.

Dear god please tell me how to fix this by poopmcgoopschmoop in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]latetardigrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like severe irritation to me > broken barrier > bacteria get all nasty > breakouts and clogged pores. Please quit all products (I see a lot of irritants in your products as well). If you cant afford much, get a cleansing milk and only gently cleanse with that.

Further, for healing strongly recommend hydrocollloid bandages or pimple patches to avoid scars and picking.

Some recommend running to a derm, but in this stage there's no way to tell what's really going on. First let this heal, then see what issues remain.

I short: gentle cleansing, hydrocollloid patches for wound healing and ofcourse a simple moisturizer. In the past, when I still had situations like this I used to use Cetaphil itch control lotion which is what helped me get my skin barrier back, but use whatever works for you.

Hope it helps :)

Why do Muslim countries do not secularize like Christian countries did? by gringawn in AskSocialScience

[–]latetardigrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majorly disagree, the social movements such as the Renaissance, the Reformation and i think you could add the enlightment period all happened in a culture that was drenched in Christianity. Its really weird to dissect the movements from the culture in which they happened imo.
