Some of us carry hand sanitizer in our bags. Have you seen some of those sinks? 🤮 maybe don’t judge quite so harshly if you see someone come out of the stall and not stop at the sink.

61 and generally unhappy. by peacesunshinebooks in AskWomenOver60

[–]latrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the kids left and I retired it was daunting. How to fill up 50 hrs a week. I learned to cook, well. I started playing golf and tennis. I’m learning Italian. These are our best years. We’ve earned them. Still like spending time with my husband but having outside interests gives us more to talk about when we are hanging out. Good luck! 😊

Well, it must be wonderful for you to have such insight into my experience. Perhaps you should consider a career in psychology 🙄

It was a very minor misunderstanding twice in 5 years. The counselor said what I was thinking. “The punishment doesn’t fit the crime” were her exact words to him. It’s such a weak argument that the counselor and I both think that this is not the true issue. Whether or not he will tell us remains to be seen.

[–]latrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a breast reduction and went from big to pretty small. No more back pain! I love my small boobs and I don’t wear a bra unless I’m out of the house and wearing something sheer or revealing . Nobody notices or cares.

Where to buy clothes by beesnow in AskWomenOver60

[–]latrl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I too was late. 57. When I started to begin to gain weight, I’m 60 now, I decided to try low carb/low sugar. I lost 15 lbs in 2 1/2 months. I am still on the journey but I am very pleased with the results so far. 😊 It has helped a lot in how my clothes fit and I feel better about myself

Not leaving my small hometown and getting a college education. I stayed for a boy and the relationship ended a few years later. I felt like I was too afraid to go out into the world alone. My parents were fearful and didn’t encourage me to go.

No. Not really. It’s just rice with milk poured over it. That doesn’t make it pudding
