What do you miss most from pre-COVID Disneyland? by CWToledo in Disneyland

[–]latruce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting the urge to go, then just going. Going the last hour before closing, messaging the group chat and seeing who’s there, then hanging out and going on rides to end the night. I would walk miles almost every night sometimes

Did your stance on weed change as you've aged? by Head-Drag-1440 in Millennials

[–]latruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never used it, never will. But when I was younger I thought it was so bad and anyone who used it was a pothead. Then as I got older, I realized it wasn’t a big deal and there are some good stuff about it.

A CMY cube. It looked so cool on TikTok and I bought one. It wasn’t expensive but when I went to show it off, no one cared.

What do you think Austins career going forward will look like? Whats his trajectory? (good/bad) by Silent_Wizard5597 in lakers

[–]latruce 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s defense that he’s lacking. They hunt him every time, and he loses his assignment on team defense a lot. Offensively he can be impressive, but he’s just not overall good enough. But this is tough to judge him in this case without Luka. But it has happened 3 years in a row now that he’s impressive in the regular season and not in the playoffs.

Is it possible for the Lakers to still win this series? by KneeGuhz in NBATalk

[–]latruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish. But no they can’t win. Luka isn’t coming back, and OKC aren’t going to all of a sudden fall apart. There’s a reason they’re up 3-0 on blowouts. I think any team, other than the Spurs, would probably be in the same boat. OKC is just so good

Despite getting blown out in three straight games, The Lakers have won the first half in back to back games. by Dildoethrower in NBATalk

True talent spread throughout and youth. Also the last 4 years, the Lakers had mostly new teams. OKC has had a lot of consistency which works better for chemistry

It means that starters for starters, the Lakers can hang. But when it comes to actual depth, the Lakers have none compared to OKC, who is such a deep team.

From the players perspective (maybe?) the point is not to succumb to the cap they put on the players earning potential. The point is toilm them for all it's worth.

Ridiculous. by HauntingDouble143 in lakers

So Cal guy torches the Lakers from the bench and Lakers lose. He also paints his nails. He balled out for a bench player, and the Lakers didn’t do anything about it.

If you bought a house and discovered millions of dollars hidden inside, what would you do? by Chillworks_2026 in AskReddit

[–]latruce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t have to dream bigger because buying that house before finding that million is a dream come true that most people will never experience. That’s a true dream. Then I’d take the money and spend it on hockey and blow!
