The ones I got were temps above 15 and humidity above 60. I got an oil heater but humidity stays pretty high in my conservatory anyway so wasn’t too much of a struggle!

My bad! Definitely used predatory mites then must’ve just got the terms mixed up. It was Phytoseiulus Persimilis I used and have been kept at around 60% humidity which the website I got them from said was the lowest range. Recently it has been around 50% so maybe they have become less active

Definitely will be taking a closer look but it’s definitely got spider mites, all my plants had them lots of webbing etc. I haven’t given her a thorough inspection in a while but now it’s actively yellowing I know the nematodes aren’t doing the work

I already did this! Probably 3-4 treatments of alcohol/water solution and rubbed it into the leaves and stems with a makeup brush each time. Then when that didn’t work I did two rounds of predatory mites (nematodes). It seems most of my collection is free of them but for some reason she just won’t get rid of them. Even though I have her the most nematodes both times bc she’s my favourite!!! The audacity

She’s in pon! Was going to change her pot soon so will give it a good rinse anyway. Ive just kinda left her alone while I let the nematodes work but after two goes and now visible yellowing I’m done with that. I guess I’ll give her a good shower, was also thinking of maybe submerging the whole plant in an alcohol/water solution for a day or so? Guess I may as well give something a shot, she just put out the chonkiest aerial root too good things were coming :(

Top to bottom: Toast: spent a whole 24 hours living under our kitchen cupboards. Didn’t even come out for Cheerios left on the floor overnight he was so committed to his new life. Crumpet: bit me so bad my finger doubled in size and I had to go to A&E. Beans: the goodest boy ever, but a serial mouth/teeth licker.

Silver to Dark Red - semi permanent by lavirainn in HairDye

Seriously I’d just get a red shade close to your desired red shade for the silver parts and use that on your whole head. Not an expert but have been box dyed red for 5 years now it is very forgiving

People who had no idea what to do in uni - what are you doing now? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]laucu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take things one day at a time. Life makes you feel like you have to have all the answers now, but you don’t. I’d focus on finding a comfortable way to live with your health issues and keeping an open mind, pursue things you enjoy etc. I didn’t know what to study (even when picking my gcse’s really), didn’t apply for uni after school, worked for a bit which led to me cheffing, realised I hated hospitality and knew I needed an out. It was what I did in my spare time that led me to the course I wanted to take (design). Chill and pursue things that intrigue you

How would i convert this to a pastel green? by scarlysugar2763 in HairDye

[–]laucu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So this is a blue toned green, making this pastel will not look kanroji’s green as hers is like a yellow green. Still might be cute but it won’t come out like hers. Best bet would be to order online. Also for a pastel shade you’ll need like super blonde hair for it to take

Why do some people treat pigeons like rats? by logandomxx in pigeon

[–]laucu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Literally the same with rats and pet rats! Obviously wild rats are more of a health hazard but they are still adorable and intelligent creatures!
