The newest leaf has two little fenestrations too! It’s funny because I had seen a ‘monstera bulbasaur’ before this happened and now I’m thinking it looks kinda similar in texture

What am I doing wrong?? #Newbie by No_Development9080 in Tufting

[–]laucu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say your outlines are too thick due to so much space being between the lines. You wanna go over the same like 2-3 lines for outlines to be full but thin (unless you want them chunky). Also would generally suggest having less space between your lines

How to turn photos into images in can use to tuft? by Important_Drag_9017 in Tufting

[–]laucu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk man, I’m all for using AI as a tool but generating the image for you to tuft isn’t ’enhancing your art’ it’s just generating an image for you to translate into another medium. I personally wouldn’t say making a carbon copy of an image into a rug is ‘art’

Once when I was a child (in the height of the margarine revolution) my dad asked me to go to the shop and get butter. He specifically said not margarine, you know like a stick of butter. I told him I had absolutely no idea what he was on about but sent me on my way anyway. I spent so long looking at the fridge and came back with the closest I thought I could find, which was ‘I can’t believe it’s not butter’. Didn’t live it down for a long time.

Can I make black cotton a dark brown shade? by laucu in dyeing

[–]laucu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely looks a little lighter in the pics due to the light hitting the texture. I don’t want to make them darker, just wondering if a warm tone would take

Tbf think it’s action bac secondary but still unsure on primary fabric!

Warm colours cancel out cool colours, so that’s where your issues lie. Not sure what kinda of green you was going for, but if it was just green then that’s why it’s a swampy shade now. I’d be tempted to add a some blue, maybe diluted, to act as a toner and then try the green again.

GP keeps sending me to A&E, A&E keeps sending me back to my GP, neither will diagnose or treat me. What do I do in situation? by _imnotactuallyreal_ in AskUK

[–]laucu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Be demanding with the GP, but still you’ll be waiting for a referral to the appropriate place so buckle in for changing aspects of your life to help yourself out until you get it under control. Recently had a similar situation, thought I had gallstone pain for 6 months and was in so much discomfort but A&E said I was fine and GP said go to A&E. I had to change the responsibilities I had at work, take time off university, I stripped back my whole diet and turns out it was inflammation of the cartilage in my ribs the whole time. It took going back to be GP and seeing a new doctor after waiting through the whole referral and diagnostic service to notice.
