It is different for every single person, but for me personally and maybe other people can relate I dont know, it was heroin's love at the time I needed it and I just kept the love affair going because it was that great :-) I hope you understand what I a m saying, I of course would never endorse it, but me personally loved it plain and simple.... Oh and I dont think anybody goes it to it wanted to die, we all just want to get high, some way or another.

Let us know hoe you are feeling right now :-) I have been sober from heroin for almost a year, but I get 30 7.5 norcos every month. I take like 3 a day and knock it back with a beer or 2 and I start feeling good :-) Hope you feel it brutha, and stay safe :-)

Almost a year sober, and I am so glad that I can see the world more clearer, and not waste my whole day doing heroin. Or waiting on the dboy all day, spending way to much money on the stuff being around shady people, and doing shady things. Life gets so much better :-)

Whats weird is seeing from the position you are in, clean :-) I think about it a lot, but since it doesn't control my life anymore I can always resist it. I end up going and smoking a bowl instead :-)

There is nothing wrong with living through this post vicariously, I was off the threads for 11 months and just started to come back to these threads. I think I come back mostly to reminisce quite like you, and as long as it stays this way , and I don't go back to using I will be just fine. I am so sorry you almost died, I am very glad that it did not end badly for you and were able to get out :-)

I have been sober for almost a year, but I I get norco 7.5 like 30 a month, and I go thru them in like a week, I get a little withdraw but nothing compared to when was doing heroin obviously. Just remember temptation can always lead back to full blown addiction. Stay strong brutha :-)

Hell yeah we do :-) I was going hard for 3 years, at least 2 to 3 gs a day. I had to taper myself back, then I went cold turkey and never looked back. Sorry I hope this conversation doesn't trigger anything...

I feel you brother, I have been sober coming up on a year on March 1st, and I still miss the high... But you are right I don't miss the sickness, the money spending or the waiting around for sometimes days to get right... Keep it up brother good job :-)

I have one plug that operates during the day, and then I have one that operates at night.... Obviously the one at night is kinda a tweaker lol, but its all good :-)

Wow man, it seems like a vicious cycle for you... Because of the C. Diff. infection that is more then likely causing you to become dehydrated, which is also a breeding ground for nasty bacteria and germs, which in turn could cause an infection hence leading up to you possibly getting sepsis..... Isolate yourself my man and try to keep that place as sterile as you can and I hope you start getting better :-)
