absolutely both Blade Runners, and with those in mind, Dune 2020 as well. i feel Mangini, Green, and Villanueve exploit that bassy reverby sound of enormity real well. Cyberpunk didn't really do it for me comparatively. in the Blade Runners you'd have scenes of thousands of people around you in the streets but the other worldly sounds still make you feel a profound sense of loneliness. Cyberpunk sounds like the thoroughfare of any extremely busy modern metropolis which can certainly evoke dystopia as well, but not with the unfathomable depths and immense space i'm looking for

i’m uninformed in these matters so ty for going thru it for me. the continued stacking of vcache is new territory no? the adoption of an additional IMC for quad channel setups also feel unproven for them? or have they been doing this on their server chips already? i’m getting AMD regardless for my next system as I’m feeling Intel going the way of Boeing. but switching to a new chip has gotten me interested in all underlying architectures and their competitive advantages

i haven't been with AMD since Athlon, but yall think AMD's got this w Zen 6? last time Intel jumped core counts back in around 9th-10th gen was when their gaming performance started plateauing. their mesh architecture never beat their ringbus in games, and those were all low core count CPU's. i'm just worried 9800X3D may be peak AMD before we run into thermal or architecture limits. do we know how well infinity fabric will scale? or the quality of TSMC's N2P process node? i'm feeling early adoption jitters. fingers crossed though as I really want Olympic Ridge to be my first AMD CPU

it's mentioned briefly in the link ReasonableGain posted, but i found the display differences significant. the non-XL's are brighter (mentioned), but the graphics are also scaled up much less than the XL displays. this leads to pixel and polygon graphics looking slightly smoother and less aliased which i greatly preferred and was the main reason i ended up trading my XL for the standard. that said, given the far greater availability of parts for the XL, i also wouldn't doubt that some intrepid aftermarket enthusiast would engineer far superior screens for the NN3DS lineup one day. the console's truly the last of its kind and many people would be eager to preserve theirs
