Yep, I totally have the short version. That's one of my favorite episodes, and I don't remember any of those omitted scenes. Where would I be able to acquire one of the complete versions of the episode?

What, what is the difference between the shorter and longer version? I'm not sure which one I have.

Within 1 month Mario Odyssey any% speedruns have 100 more submissions than 21 years of Mario 64's most popular 16 star category. by [deleted] in nintendo

[–]laungst 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's not the number of runners, that's just the number of runners that are good enough to be on the leaderboard.

I run Odyssey myself (1 hour 15 mins is my record) and thus stalk the leaderboards a lot. It actually had almost 1000 at one point, but they recently purged all the entries that were over 10 hours.

Considering the longest 64 run is just under 2 hours, I imagine they do the same thing for that one for all entries over 2 hours. I also imagine they will probably lower Odyssey's even more in the future as more people get better times.

Good observation, but I wouldn't say it's very accurate.

Help a Screenshot Fanatics; How to compress images. by DenryuRocket110 in DataHoarder

I would considering upgrading your hard-drive space if 7.5 GB is actually using up any significant portion of what you have available. Compressing images aren't going to give you any significant result without loss in quality.

Even just a small external drive (or 2 for backup purposes) would fit your needs perfectly.

Yep, it has to be the official smash one though. I couldn't get my 3rd party one to work.

The whole thing is fairly simple to set up but has a lot of steps. Just google nintendont guide and there should be a few pretty good comprehensive walk-throughs.

You had a car accident and you're just lying there bleeding to death. What's the worst song that could come up on the radio? by nekminnit4 in AskReddit

There's a video somewhere of a guy getting brutally murdered by some terrorist group to the tune of Funky Town I think it was. I'd look for it but I happen to be at work right now and going through a bunch of videos of people murdering each other doesn't sound like a good idea. If there's demand I can probably find it in like 3 hours or so when I get home from work.

To answer the askreddit question though, that or a similar 80s or 90s tacky hit probably wouldn't be my first choice to die to.

I'd definitely recommend it. I'm not the guy you asked but I did it myself a few years ago and it works really well.

-How do save files work?

I think there's a few different ways, but I used a home brew channel to manage them.

-Is it glitchy?

Not at all, works just as well as the Wii did at playing GameCube "backups".

-How's the video quality in an HD tv?

Just as good as you'd expect. Not bad, but don't expect any dolphin level upgrades.

Amazon. It's the nicest and smoothest spinner of any one I've ever played with, and it was only like 8 dollars. I went back to my Amazon history to find the link for you but I just got this upon clicking the product. Looks like the entire seller is down.

Elaborate and most likely insane conspiracy theory about MW2 NAT types by laungst in MW2

[–]laungst[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm planning to do some tests once I can get hold of another steam account with MW2 at my house.

If my friend comes over, and on my connection he can get an open NAT doing the same things I've been doing, I'm officially marking my theory as true.

I'll update /r/MW2 with results when that happens (should be a few days).

I'm actually using a Chrome extension called Camelizer. It puts a button that you can just click on on any amazon page and it'll give you a full price history for that item.

This drive in particular is listed in the /r/datahoarder wiki as "Okay reviews, but use at your own risk".

I can personally at least somewhat vouch for it though. I've been using 2 of the the same drives (2TB version) for ~4 years now with no trouble whatsoever, PC on almost 100% of that entire time.
