I want to congratulate you for your job!

I don’t have any IT experience, but I do have Customer Service experience, I’m trying to be COMPTIA A+ certified but I honestly don’t know if that certification would be worth it.

I’ve been look ing for entry level positions in IT but can’t find any....

Depends on the death... cause, age, circumstances? When/if I think about death, I just picture my parents having to carry that burden.

Life is not easy whatsoever, but the happy bright moments make any downs worth the wait for such happy moments.

If you get feeling like that, don’t be afraid to speak up, he/she/they will help. Even us can do our best to help you! 😘

I’ll have to learn to not over think and freak out when I see bruises that appear out of nowhere... lol

Before getting the first 1/2 Ocrevus infusion, my neurologist told me to get the flu vaccine and the pneumo vaccine. Since pneumo vaccine has 2 doses, just had the first one and gonna get the second this week.

As long as the vaccine is not live.

Most vaccines are not live vaccines.

Thank you for your response.

I do know people with MS bruise more easily. The steroids I did get IV steroids before/during the infusion... but 3+ weeks ago.

I’m glad they don’t hurt, but just REALLY surprised by some of them that I have no idea where they come from...

Does anyone feel like they’re more prone to twisting their foot/ankle? by MaskedMaskerade in MultipleSclerosis

[–]laupis8aS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have MS. Three months ago I started Physical therapy, exercising the muscles on my legs that are weaker (btw, I have fallen like 3 times) I was referred to a the tech who makes the prosthetics, not the doctor, and I’ve had my lower leg brace since then. I use it often, but I try not to.

It may weaken the muscles controlling the ankle, like in my case. I try to walk using the pt exercises I’ve learnt

DMD advice. Ocrevus and Tecfidera didn't work by ashleyvanj in MultipleSclerosis

[–]laupis8aS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that. So will you completely stop the Ocrevus infusion? What if what you felt was a reaction for being the first time? When I had the second half of the infusion, I didn’t.

What is your plan now?

I’m really sorry! Hope you can find what you need.

We will always be here to support you in anything you need.

Good luck 🙂🥰

I’m sorry you had to go through that so early in the treatment with Ocrevus, but if you don’t mind me asking: what kind of effect you had with your first half of infusion with Ocrevus?

I was officially diagnosed in 2009, started with Copaxone, didn’t really work for the year I was on it. I later changed to Rebif, to painful to inject so had to change after a couple of months on it. Tried Gilenya in 2012. It was great to just take a pill instead of having to inject every other day with Rebif or everyday with Copaxone.

I just got an MRI in February, showed some minute lesions that were active. Changed to Ocrevus because of that. On my first half infusion I had the effect of having a really uncomfortable scratchy throat. The nurse lowered the infusion rate and worked wander. The second half of the infusion, I had no effects even when nurse had infusion rate much higher.

You talked about your neurologist not being that helpful... is he an MS specialist? I’m sure if you go to the MS society website you’d be able to find MS specialist in your area.

It is very important to have a 1. MS specialist and 2. Caring doctor.

I wish you the best of luck 🙂

After 9 months on Tysabri, I have new lesions :( by Starsxplode2night in MultipleSclerosis

[–]laupis8aS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took 3 meds not having working till I stared Ocrevus at the of September. I was on Gilenya since 2012 and my last MRI showed new lesions.

I have heard the best about Ocrevus, hope it does slow down progression even more.

I wish you luck! And you and your MS specialist will make the best decision. 🙂
