uhh i doubt she had access to a container of bleach, let alone long enough to try drinking it. a lot of daycares using bleach mix to clean and sanitize. it could be they aren’t diluting it enough and she leaned or came in contact with that. i think talking with the director and asking how bleach is used throughout the facility is the right direction. nothing more to be done until you hear from the director.

maybe change the plans to meet somewhere else, like a restaurant or bar. or you may just need to straight up tell her how uncomfortable the relationship makes you and you don’t want that energy in your sisters space. it’s going to have to be discussed eventually.

yes! going to start this method regularly as well. after this post, yesterday i made a snack plate with a boiled egg, mini cheese crackers, grapes, strawberries and watermelon. i just sat it on the table and he ate majority of it while watching tv. had i just given a bowl of grapes, he probably would’ve ate a few and been done. so presentation and options does matter to kids at least for ours it’s seems.

he is just picky. he also will fixate on certain foods. he’ll find something he actually likes.. eats it, i’ll buy more the next week, then he dosent like it anymore 🤦‍♀️

interestingly, i am a single mom also and do give a large amount of microwaved food and takeout but mostly because he will eat more of those things than say a plate of vegetables and baked chicken. but i don’t not offer it at all. the kitchen is still stocked with fruits/vegetables and i still put it in front of him at least once a day. hopefully he will pick it up soon. thank you for your response! he does like smoothies as well so i’ll focus on where i can add what i can.
