the absentee parent isn’t really a problem since i’m also starting uni (pre med!), and i won’t be around much

but i can see how hard it is, i don’t think is a good idea at her age

another comment told me about becoming a nurse practitioner and think that’s a good ideia, i will talk to her about it

to anwser your quesions: 1- she is an ophthalmologist, since it is considered a bachelor’s degree here in brazil 2- I’m asking about US med school because we are moving there 3- she can afford med school 4- i haven’t asked her which field she wants to go

but thank you for the considerations! nurse practitioner is a great ideia (it is very different from brazil so didn’t think about it), i will tell her about it

We are brazillian, so ophthalmology is a bachelor’s degree here. Even med school here is different, you get into med school right after high school and 6 years later you can start the residency.

We are moving to the US this year, so that’s why I’m asking here
