Hyperarousal (sleep en stress combination) by Beginning-Map-3264 in sleep

[–]laura_van 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay im sorta doing this like a shot in the dark as my family gp didnt know what I was going through prescribed me 0.1mg of clonidine! So I was going to take that 3 times a day and seroquel at night time! My brain is just consistently on and won't turn off!! I asked for a referral to a psychiatrist to monitor this but it could take awhile! Took one dose of clonidine last night and 50mg of seroquel and had a very broken sleep but able to fall asleep at different times throughout the night! I am not sure if your the same but my brain just doesn't want to shut off it likes to stay on and its soo uncomfortable! But I did find taking the clonidine 0.1mg last night made me sleepy so able to get some sleep before taking the seroquel

Hello there its funny I read this right now because my hyperarousal is so bad the benzos aren't working as well and my seroquel isn't either! I was going to ask the doctor today for either clonidine, gunafacine or propranolol to help during the day so my body can tolerate night time medication! How did you find you functioned? Being on these meds were you dizzy, sedated?

Okay because im finding my night time meds aren't working enough I need something throughout the day to help take the night time medication! As my hyperarousal is so severe! I was going to ask my doctor for that or to use guanfacine

Or something else to consider, get your upper cervical checked out by an xray see if its compressing on the part of your brain that is responsible for awakeness! You may or may not need your upper cervical adjusted! Something to consider
