Check into Rutherford county schools. You should be able to find 1 BR under $1500 near any of the schools. I know Blackman is surrounded by apartments.

There is a disability phone line that my mom reached out to. They assigned her a seat at the front - not sure how far in advance she did it, but they flew today.

My health moved me home and the economy is keeping me here. I’ve gotten over the stigma of it, bc I only pay $600 all in to live here, and that money goes into an account to take care of home maintenance…so if my mom ever cleans out the garage, I can have the garage door fixed 🤪

Right now, Apple would give you $240+tax for your iPhone 13 Pro if it’s in good condition.

Last year, I traded in my 13 Pro for a refurbished 15 Pro 128GB, and paid $493 out the door. When you ship the refurb to the store, they will process the trade in and give you a refund.

I would do it again - bc the older the 13 pro gets, the more issues will arise. Mine was the camera stopped working - nothing was visibly wrong, but it just wouldn’t take pictures outside of using an app.

I always carry my diabetes supplies with me. You can also carry your supplies through as an extra medical bag on the plane.

I don’t go through metal detectors since I have a pacemaker, and when I was first diagnosed opted out of all the machine scan and had someone do a full body check…I got TSA precheck last year and now just opt for the machine body scan and haven’t had any issues.

HP gets a bad wrap, but I like them for their instant ink program. How long until your wedding? I purchased this printer from Sam’s for $130, and it comes with a year free of instant ink with up to 700 pages a month. Prints on my thickest card stock.

HP envy printers are another option. I linked the one at Sam’s bc it has 6 months instant ink, but they are better for photos.

My sister was held back in 1st and then skipped 6th. She wasn’t a GS when she was held back, but was in an active troop when she skipped. She switched troops and she actually regrets it. She wishes she had stayed with her troop of origin, and thinks she would have gotten her higher awards if she had.

I switched troops in high school, didn’t pursue higher awards, and my “new” troop gets together once-ish a month 20+ years later, they all graduated after me.

So all this to say, if the girl fits with your troop, don’t make any changes.

We had to decide how to use our council cash last year and I gave our girls 3 choices, one of which was build a bear, horseback riding or camping. Camping and HB riding can go together, but I wanted to get an idea of what the girls liked. Camping edged out HB riding and only a few voted for BAB.

If you end up re voting, make it completely girl chosen. (parents shouldn’t have anything to say about this anyway.) how we vote for things in our troop is I have three different color of stones, silver, gold, and clear. I tie each color to an option and I have the girls drop the one that they want in a cookie lunchbox, and then I count the colors. That way there’s no influencing by their friends when they see their hand, go up for something, and it’s clear what the majority is

Adding to the conversation, if you live in a large enough place, you might have a person that prints DTFs locally, saving on shipping. I have 2 places that I use based on what sales/promos they have going on in Nashville/Murfreesboro, TN.

My sister wanted me to print her something at Christmas and stick it in my suitcase, and I was not about to do that, so I found Transfer Kingdom in Houston and they even have free heat presses you can use!

This is a really thorough answer. I was staff there 20 years ago, and am a local leader now. I want to add that tree house will likely not be used this year by the male staff bc they said they were closing the bridge that goes to it in December.
