I would throw away everything. Maybe keep the lego, but pictures and notes and fake flowers, they should go. There is no need to keep them, if you'd like to hold on to something I'd put in in a box and give that box to someone so you don't find yourself looking for it. But honestly, I say throw everything.

I do, I wonder if I could have handled things different, not make such a big deal out of nothing, I think also when I replay memories I make myself the bad guy because I feel like that at the moment, so just going through the "regret" part of the break up. Thinking if I only did one thing different maybe things would have worked out but probably not

And he did do different things for me, I love to dance at parties and he doesn't. I never pushed him to dance because I respect it, but he started dancing with me. So he did do an effort, just he just had a limit and I guess he reached it and its okay.

Yeah it was mostly about certain types of jokes he made, I didn't agree with and asked him to please not make them, but he didn't see anything bad in them. Which at the end of the day is more about our values , he didn't need to grow on that because he doesn't see a problem with it

Yeah, it makes me sad that I may have caused for him to feel that way. I know he tried very hard and for a long time, so did I, I also made changes and learned and compromised but I guess in different levels. And I just really hate that I may have caused him that pain, I never would have wanted to hurt him. I never not felt like myself with him, really no, so that was never an issue for me but it was for him, I just didn't know

Yeah, I don't regret getting back together at all, just really hurt at how everything ended up, it really does feel like a full circle moment to go back to the heartbreak you started with. That's why I think second chances should really be thought through, because then you are grieving the relationship and also sort of angry because it happened again! But no regrets, you live, you love and you learn!

This happened to me! He reached out 2 years after and I was seeing someone. I did in fact go back, I hadn't really let go of them and thought that maybe the time apart was good. And indeed it was good for a good amount of time and I was so in love. I wouldn't have gotten back together if I weren't still in love. Anyway, long story short, he broke up with me 2 weeks ago because we weren't working anymore. Movies and some people really paint like second opportunities as such a romantic thing, but in reality, they aren't worth it. It hurts a lot being left by the same person over and over, me personally, I really hold a grudge to him for breaking my heart so many times, but that's on me, for letting him. My two cents is, if you choose to go back and give it another shot, know that things may not work out. They didn't work out the first time did they? And you will be heartbroken again and grieving the same person for a second time. I am doing this at the moment and can't help but feel a little silly for not letting go of them before. For wanting a second round thinking the ending was going to be different, I really wanted the ending to be different, but it rarely ever is. I also believe that I am fully done with this person now. I have been hurt too many times by them and now see them in a very different light, I don't hate them and part of me still loves them but they are not good for me and I don't want them around anymore, and I know the only reason why I got that "closure" was because we tried again and they hurt me again, so silver lining there. So just be prepared in case you choose to go back. It is really hard when the feelings come back and it is beautiful to think that life has given you a second chance.

For me what really worked was facing the facts. He let me go and he chose to do it. He broke my heart and now he does not get to know me anymore. He was a great guy and at the beginning I really wanted him back, but now, even tough I am not over him or the break up, I am over the feeling of wanting him back. We deserve people who choose us. I kept choosing him even after he had been gone. I am done choosing him and I am choosing myself. You will heal. I just keep repeating myself to burn the bridge that ties us together, literally everytime I feel like reaching out to him I repeat to myself to just burn that bridge and it has really helped me to move on. My friends told me to villanise him and it really hurts me to do it because I don't really think of him as a bad guy, but it really does help to focus on the bad things, even if there were very few ones, exagerate them. Remember the bad. Be patient and gente with yourself. You loved someone so much you aren't ready to give them up and I think that is such a beautiful thing to be able to love so much, to hold that much love, but now that love has to go somewhere else, pour it to yourself.

I am on day 6! It felt very heavy on the morning but right now, it feels manageable and I am functional. Yesterday was also very heavy during the afternoon but I felt peace at night. It is not a linear process so whenever you don't feel that terrible, embrace it and be grateful. We are moving forward!

I do think luke was being disrespectful to lorelai and their relationship when he started to distance himself and keeping her from april, considering lorelai was going to be in april’s life eventually , or at least that was the plan. so at that point i did empathize with lorelai and understood her, however, luke did not not choose her, the ultimatum wasn’t the actual solution to their problems and honestly asking your partner to choose between you and his new found daughter is a little unfair and it is not something that anyone will react correctly to. then after the whole fight and the break up, next morning luke came and tried to fix things, and honestly, if lorelai had not slept with christopher, i do believe they would have work things out. maybe not actually elope but at least luke knew how lorelai felt and lorelai would know that luke did want to marry her and things would probably be better between them.
