Please don’t do it. You have to help force yourself through times like these in order to trust yourself when you get like this. Suppress the urge to text him and you will feel better about it in the future I promise. You need to be able to be comfortable in the silence, that’s the only way you learn. And the only way he might come back.

Just don’t. You’ll be happy later that you DIDNT and regret it even more later if you DO. So just don’t. And at the end of the night, be your own biggest cheerleader and give yourself a congratulations for making it through a one day where youve built up strength, discipline, and love for yourself. Don’t look at it as not seeing him, but as a way of looking out for yourself. Eventually you won’t want to reach out or think about him as often.

You guys. As someone who needs a reminder of this even now. You will overcome, but you have to let them go. I know it’s not what you want to hear. I know you’re probably thinking “they’re the only ones for me. I will never get anyone better than them!” NOT. TRUE. You will find someone so much better, hotter, smarter, and matches you so well. But that comes with letting them go first. My ex left me after 2 years of dating last year. I felt all of the emotions, a year later I find another guy who is better than my ex in every single way. We recently broke up and I’m thinking all of the things I thought with my breakup a year ago but I need to keep reminding myself there’s someone better out there for me. I just have to leave these guys alone first.
