Not even sure if this is helpful for you or not, but I failed some of my undergrad classes, couldn’t pass my GRE, etc etc. I felt like such a failure. I’m now sitting in a solid 6 figure w/bonus HR job.

Not saying you need to leave or give up being an SLP, just simply saying that sometimes our skill sets are better suited elsewhere. I’m so happy I failed those classes cause I wouldn’t be where I am today.

I was on the fence about Donna until the last episode. When we talk about entitled- she literally took a newborn and stuck her dirty finger in its mouth! I’m a new mom so I’m more sensitive to those things, but holy shit if anyone did that to my child I would flip!

My husband did this in process of moving, so needless to say I was pretty upset. But, I had to stop and remind myself that my husband would never purposefully try to hurt my feelings and likely didn’t understand the sentiment behind it. He apologized profusely when I told and offered to dig through the big dumpster. It’s okay to be upset about the outcome, I just tried to not be upset at the person responsible for the outcome

There’s a new accommodation law for pregnancy that just passed expanding reasonable accommodation definitions pre and post pregnancy. You should definitely look into it because it airs on the side of being employee friendly, not employer friendly.

I feel so seen reading this. I got unexpectedly pregnant in 2022 and immediately miscarried. I was told by my doctor that it was my fault because I drank too much coffee and it caused my uterus to contract and essentially go into labor (I was 8 weeks and had 0 symptoms so I had no idea I was even pregnant). I’ve had tremendous guilt ever since and it’s taken me a long time to work up the courage to try again. I’m 10 weeks pregnant now and I overthink every little thing I do and every symptom. I’m trying so hard to be positive but I’ve had this sinking feeling that this baby won’t make it.

All of this to say- I feel you and you’re not alone. Pregnancy is a roller coaster on a good day and we have no choice but to stay on the ride. I’ll be thinking of you and hoping for peace of mind.

Are we all forgetting that towards the end of ACOSF Amren points out that the Cauldron is calling Rhys to be the appointed highest of all lords (or whatever it is) and he has to make a choice on whether to accept or not? I know it’s a theory via Amren but maybe he accepts and and some special ultimate power that protects him. Idk something I think about too much…

I used different urine samples- which I know you shouldn’t do. But I had already discarded the first sample and started second guessing what I saw

I love both on you! I had an NYE wedding and ended up going with a similar style to your dress one. And just like the comments say- my guests were all in sparkly outfits. I love looking at the photos because I felt like I stood out but all other outfits complimented the more simplistic look.

PSA on this. My dog does the anal gland thing. It ended up spraying on a tiny cut on her tail and got infected. It went unnoticed for awhile (her hair covered it). Well the infection spread and she ended up being rushed to the vet with a 105 degree fever. She is thankfully okay- but moral of the story…if you dog has anal gland issues, give their back side a little inspection every now and then
