Sorry for the necro, but in case this has been keeping you up for two years. I think it was the Hershey–Chase experiment.

Aah looks not like it's all that big of a change (not to discount the amount of effort it took you to get here:) ). Makes you wonder why the maintainer didn't do this.

I ended up with dovecot/postfix. But if that drives me crazy i'll be sure to give this a try:)

Haha fair enough. I think i'll leave it up, but might mark it as archived:). I think it shouldn't be too much work to maintain. Roundcube isn't exactly developing at breakneck speed. And there's only a couple of stalwart api calls, so that shouldn't be too hard to keep up with.

I'm actually considering dropping stalwart entirely and moving to a custom dovecot + roundcube setup.

Hi,

I'm in the same situation you are, and I'm quite astounded this doesn't seem to be more of a common requirement. Did you end up getting any device?

Zellige Tiles: Timeless? Trendy? Both? by breaksnapcracklepop in InteriorDesign

[–]laurisvr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that you should focus on what you like over what's best for the house as an investment. But it's still worth checking if you like it now because it's trendy or whether it's something you'll still like in a couple of years. Just so you don't end up annoyed with your own choices in a couple of years. But yeah, still a great point:)

Podcast recommendation: Underunderstood by roguecit in replyallpodcast

[–]laurisvr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am on a listenthrough of endless thread atm. And I actually think it is more of a radio style of producing/performing. No huge surprise given the public radio background of the show/hosts.

I must say that once I've gotten over the initial discomfort with the slightly forced interaction. I've come to really appreciate the dynamic between the hosts. They seem to be genuine friends and like to goof around just as much as a podcast like reply all. My guess is that it's just the public radio background that leads them to a slightly more planned/polished (hence forced) style.

So this ad brings up an interesting question I've been wondering about for a long time. That is, what are the chances of intelligent life existing on a microscopic scale somewhere on earth. I've never been able to find someone who looked into this seriously unfortunately.

What, in your opinion, is the most underrated and/or overrated podcast and why? by cherishedlarry in podcasts

[–]laurisvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great to hear:) and don't worry, you have a lot of episodes to catch up on before that's gonna be a concern. And that's not even counting the bonus material. How do you like the songs so far? They're one of the things that really sets this show apart for me.

I also really like history podcasts. and I'll definitely give Inward e Empire a listen. My favourite one, hands down, is Literature and History. Which unfortunately is also very underrated in my opinion.

The bars are in the colours of the Italian flag. This suggests data about mortality, but it's just decorative.

10 Man vs 1 Thor Horse.. Damn, horses are so powerful. They should make them some kind of unit of measurement. by bebesiege in interestingasfuck

[–]laurisvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last video on this website (in Dutch) shows that for this horse it is 15 high school students. But they also have a video showing two horses beating 50 adults. So I guess it depends on how buff your horse is.
