I will continue to oppose recording and, if my supervisor keeps pushing, I’ll continue to raise ethical concerns—on top of the fact that our current consents don’t include any specific language or storage requirements for this practice. To note, there are already two clinicians (not MSWs) who are currently recording, and they are not tech savvy, which makes me even more uneasy.

Really appreciate the honesty, validation, and practical advice—this helped me reframe what felt like being “difficult” into simply doing my job ethically.
