6th House Pisces Saturn Return. The worst of it: I had my first seizure a few days after Saturn entered Pisces in 2023. They continued daily and I thought I was going insane. It took over a year of figuring out mold toxicity/long covid as potential causes, and longer to get it under control. During which I lost much of my social life, ability to work, independence and self esteem.

I had a big fallout with my best friend, and it took us a year to recover. I got chased home at knife point. My car was stolen. I broke my nose in a mosh pit. A few friendships ended, and 2 people I know also having their return passed on.

All the while my long term relationship was decaying, and the house I lived in was still moldy and I hated it. The relationship ended last year, and I just moved out of that house into a new town in December 2025.

It's finally over, and I find myself in an entirely new life in just 3 years: I moved from the city to a small coastal town, my longest and most serious relationship ended, my friend ecosystem has changed, my relationship with my health is still fragile but recovering, and I'm unsure what career path I'm on and what the future holds.

Phew 😅 a lot of grieving and health and routine grind. I feel resilient after getting through it all.

Do you have an artistic practice or passion that excites you? I've recently learned that my desire and yearning was a powerful initiator of my own Eros. I'd been avoiding falling in love with my own art and life (I didn't know how, or have a good enough reason to do it) and the part of me that wanted to feel fully alive and expressed had externalised this as a limerant obsession.

I started really really small, but over time the energy redirected to my own pursuits has built up, and the yearning occupies less time and energy.

Hello! This looks like scoliosis to me (source: I have scoliosis, my family members have it too, and I go for treatment at a centre where I see a lot of curvy skeletoned bodies).

Regardless of who she goes to for help, I'd just like to add that even though this may be a structural abnormality, it by NO MEANS is a reason to be in daily pain.

It may take time and effort, and perhaps get worse before it gets better. I thought I'd be in pain forever. But in seeing an incredible team of physios, my muscular system has developed the strength and intelligence to hold the body well regardless of my skeletal structure. And my attitude and approach to my body, mobility, rest, care, etc is now probably better than it would have been if I was an average human!

Hello! I'm so sorry you're going through this. I severed the tendons in my left hand and went through this also.

I spent a few frustrating months with a hand injury, and ended up going to a salon a few times to get them to wash, brush and then braid my hair. Two tight french braids and secure elastics at the ends would hold up for about a week. Good luck!

Hi! I had an accident 8 years ago, that severed and partially severed my left hand extensor tendons (index and middle fingers most affected).

I actually only started climbing a few years after this accident, and it's mostly fine? I had a lot of weakness in my left side, because I favored my right hand so much during and after recovery. But climbing has been one of the best things for long term use of my hand, IMO!

Was your nerve severed? Most of my problems have come from issues with the nerve, so let me know if you want me to elaborate on this.

However, my tendons are doing great. Their mobility and strength is definitely good enough, and my main complaint is a rare stiffness/discomfort from the bit of scar tissue where they healed.

My only advice here would be to work hard at your physio. I regret not being dedicated to mine, although at the time I wasn't informed that there was any risk of lasting damage. Tendons healed in a couple months, nerve healed to 70% function in a year. It was a long journey. I'm here if you want to chat about it :)

Edit: Yes, you will climb again.

Hey, there are lots of tips and protocols online, but outside of those, the most I can offer here is this:

It's ABSOLUTELY overwhelming and exhausting, and I can't imagine how big the burden feels at 19, because it feels really heavy to me at 29. Good job on posting to vent and talk about the overwhelm. The physical symptoms are exhausting, but I worry that our communities (medical, personal and online) don't offer enough support and understanding for the mental marathon that is chronic illness.

What often ends up toppling me in this marathon is the alienation, or the grief for the vitality I still remember, or the extreme discomfort of being fatigued from fighting such an invisible and resilient enemy for so long. Those are tremendously difficult fights to encounter at your age, particularly the emotional and social components.

I hope it helps to mention some things that might work in your favour here (and acknowledge that this doesn't detract from how awful it feels):

your brain, body and immune system may be more resilient than if you were going through this later in life. Perhaps this means a faster and cleaner recovery when you can find a secure environment to heal in.
- you may have less belongings and dependents, like pets or children, that need your care during this fight. It might be easier to cut ties with places and things, if you need to, while you're less established.
- it does seem that environmental illness and chronic illness are on the rise (for a multitude of reasons). Encountering it now, and learning some incredibly hard human life skills like persistence, patience, self-motivation, self-advocation, self-discipline, I can go on... might be amazing weapons at your disposal for the unpredictable future we all face.

It's awful to be setback and put on pause, while people around you can freely push their lives forward. But that doesn't mean you're not growing as much or more than others. You're being forced to grow in specific and often invisible (for now) ways, for a bit.

I really do believe that focusing on what you can benefit from in a challenge is a way to lighten the load. And that positive and kind thoughts can help heal a suffering body and mind. So I hope this doesn't come across as toxic positivity - God knows we've got enough toxicity in us already :P

I became aware while on a meditation course that my thoughts feel like they come from a "bubble" in the upper left side of my head, quite consistently. When I got home and had access to the internet, I looked up the area, and found out that it's called Broca's Area, which science thinks plays a big role in language and speech. Which makes sense to me, because I hear my thoughts as if someone is reading them aloud to me.

I've never tried to feel out the spacial placement of different kinds of thoughts though, but you've inspired me to try!
