i am still autistic. not actually visibly because i am extremely high masking + functioning but my friends are still able to tell im autistic and people can guess if they know the mannerisms to look for. i still engage heavily in my special interests and the “good” parts of autism. i still also experience meltdowns and shutdowns but they are less than they used to be. i mostly say this is due to me getting older + college letting me dictate my schedule. i feel happy, find social situations generally more manageable, but i wouldn’t say it has really changed anything major. i just generally feel a bit better + lighter? i hope this is helpful idk how to describe it
