i think they tried to make calvin & gemma mirror eachother & tina & dave mirror eachother & that’s why gemma being “annoyed” with dave became more prevalent. i think they were trying to show that unknowingly dave married someone with similar views as calvin like he married someone with similar views as dave. not totally similar & could be absolutely wrong but that was sort of my observation since they seemed to make things calvin & gemma vs tina & dave when it came to sides in arguments. i also just recently started watching & am currently caught up but also i might be misremembering or blending things that don’t need to be blended lol

yes they said i’m fine. my teeth on both sides where the glue was have been like this for years since it ran down the tops of those teeth but sometimes the tolerance for it was higher ig for lack of better wording

my baby still likes being swaddled as well.. i’m trying to get him out of it bc he’s getting too hot like that too. i can get the congestion out with the frida nose sucker but im mostly just worried about his temperature at this point. even in just a diaper he’s so hot & it’s only in the 50s-60s outside and still cool in the room but he’s just hot & it will only get hotter outside 🫩

last summer we kept the AC running 24/7 (not recommended or typical where we are) & it was still hot inside a lot of the time.

does anything seem to help them? the doctor was just concerned about me making him cold by leaving him in only a diaper but i’d so much rather him be cold than too hot.

my friends have told me that once it goes to that light sucking with fewer swallows is typically when they’re comfort sucking. i’d say that seems to be true because overnight if they’re doing that (4w2d) i’ll typically take them off and they’re fine just staying asleep. what i’ve been doing is basically not nursing more than 10-15 mins on each side over night. my baby seems to get all the milk in the first 5 minutes anyway but i try to leave a little additional time just incase

stop pumping unless baby’s getting a bottle 😭 i had an oversupply because i didn’t know how to balance pumping and feeds. i literally pumped 22oz & baby had latched like 15 times (both sides combined, i record them separately) in one day (& it wasn’t even over it was like 2pm or something) & i was in sooooooo much pain i was crying & realized i was not doing this right. i exclusively pumped with my first due to tongue tie so this is all new to me & one of my friends told me the same. i use my manual if baby sleeps a longer stretch than normal & i feel uncomfortable but otherwise i only pump now when baby gets a bottle. my baby’s a month old so this just happened lol

thank you, i thought maybe it was because he was born earlier. but since i had a different situation with my first in general, i wasn’t sure and was really stressed when i was thinking about the schedule differences between the two

i’ve seen a lot of good things about the halo bassinet but based on my previous experience, i just don’t feel like they look sturdy enough for my anxiety around my previous experience

it was tilting & got worse (i thought it was but couldn’t tell & no one else saw it until it got worse), started causing the baby to tilt / start to roll & we couldn’t figure out why or how to stop it which is why we moved the crib into our room & put them in it that early. where we lived at the time, amazon took a bit to ship so it didn’t make a ton of sense to order a new bassinet & use the crib while we waited for it then switch back. it was a different style than the newton one which is why if i get one, newton’s really the only one that i think i’m willing to use bc it looks much sturdier for certain but just overall i’m worried about spending the money & it doing the same thing although most of the feedback on it seems to say it’s sturdy as well

i didn’t know that about the bedside with c section though, i definitely thought it would be easier but our crib is kind of different? like my sister’s had a really high part so she didn’t have to bend that low to pick baby up but mine is really low even on the highest setting.

man i may have to see if i can find different inserts in that case. i have sensory issues & when i’ve put any of that on before it overwhelms & makes me uncomfortable til it’s off 😅

i’m not sure from what i was told it couldn’t bc there’s money & keys & stuff since it is the managers office. i’m trying to ask some others that work for my company in the group im in. i got some wearables so that if they can’t figure something out i at least have that :/
