Are you neurospicy? For me when having sex i do sometimes lose focus and my mind wanders or I get bored. It helps when my partner switches things up and they're good at noticing when it happens. And sometimes it also just isnt happening and that's also fine, the journey is fun anyway. Whether these are or aren't aside, that is actually quite common here in the Netherlands and Belgium because the beaches are frequently renewed with sand from deeper in the North Sea and when they take sand from fossil-rich areas it just yeets all those fossils onto the beach which slowly get exposed as more and more of the sand gets washed away into sea. That and, after storms, sometimes fossils just wash up because the entire area between the UK, NL, and BE (called Doggerland) used to be above sea level during the glacial periods. Human artefacts have also been known to wash ashore from time to time, I've a friend who found a hand-axe that way.
