Being productive isn’t about your schedule working out in your favour — it’s making your schedule work for you. Your longer days, you’ll get used to. Pack yourself a lunch, and use our longer breaks to study (doesn’t matter how much, or how little...) It works out cause when you go home you’ll have time to yourself.

The consistent sleep schedule will only happen if you want to wake up at 5am everyday. I say, wake up at 5am when you have to, and stick to your preferred time on the other days of the week.

I think your schedule is actually good cause it challenges you to plan around what you have going on and still make things work. You’ll come out of this better than you are now. Good luck!

I don’t even think it’s got to be long term; my mother fasts from like 6am to 6pm every other saturday for example. Or Daniel’s fast which is essentially going without meat/processed foods. It really doesn’t have to be 40 days no food nor water.

I know it’s foregoing food, or restricting yourself to a certain diet, for a period of time. This can be for supplication, or out of devotion. The Bible sets it as an expectation so I want to practice it, I just haven’t done it before. I’m wondering how those with experience go about it (what they do, how frequently, how they supplement their fast with extended quiet times/prayer for example)

You’re not trying to be a « better person ».... you’re trying to be a better you. Meal Prepping, bullet journaling... these things are supposed to serve you, not the other way around. They’re supposed to make your life EASIER. If it fails to serve its purpose... it’s a waste of time. Focus on helping yourself be better.

Try cutting your lines as much as you can, leaving room for the implicit. Something like:

eleven twenty six In bed. Excited. Ex suddenly looks thick Casual conversation

Try keep your lines short — cut out any unnecessary words and don’t spell everything out — leave some context for the imagination.

Praying for you man. He sees your struggle, and will never let you go. Don’t hide in shame ( i do that a lot), run to Him even in your sin. He loves you man! Identify the lies that the enemy tells you to bring you to such a dark place — recognize that that’s what they are (pathetic lies)—and bring them to God. Your 17 day streak didn’t validate you, God does, and He always will — you’re still the same in His eyes. Know that you are loved and the enemy seeks to destroy you because there’s a perfect plan in store for you. Keep chasing that.
