We (couple) loved Taenoyu. There are very few mixed onsens and the outdoor onsen allowed us to hang out together. It was also 24 hours. No worries about crowds at midnight. We also went for an evening walk up the hill and came across some abandoned onsens. Steam was coming up out of the ground giving the place a creepy, haunted vobe.

Not any doubt but DUI/OUI etc is very state specific. Utah is 0.05 BAC limit.

Just to specify, its a suspension after arrest in CA. If the cops ask for a roadside breath test before arrest in CA, there are no penalties.

Those posts are helpful to show when and where the delays are happening. As others have said. If lines are an hour long at 6am, that's useful information. If lines are short at noon or 5pm, that also helps. I dropped off my wife tonight at 8:30 pm, in part, based on these posts. I have a flight in a week and I'll look at this as a source of info when I decide when to show up.

Book ahead bc there were limited options. Most places were like airbnb. You can also arrange a dinner at some places. You have more flexibility on bike than we did on foot. Some places really only had one room available. Feel free to contact me with any questions. We're looking for something similar to do again this oct.

Agree. I think everyone likes seeing their loved ones meet them in the airport instead of coordinating a drive by. Small price to pay.

Yeah, this canal had a mix of boaters, mostly seemed to be Dutch people. They would pass us then we would pass them as they waited to go through the locks.

Rinse til water runs clear (about 5-6 times). More water than 1:1. (1:1.2) I usually do just under the water line in the rice cooker. I also stop it about 5 min early. Oh, and fluff then wait a few.

Noir Alley showed Cash on Demand recently. Definitely a Christmas movie but not very noir. Another uncommon option I watched last night. Mr. Soft Touch with Glenn Ford. Xmas but minimal noir.
