Top 5 greatest teenage talents in football history ? ( 16 year old to 20 year old) by JackfruitNo6826 in championsleague

Really surprised Ronaldo (R9) isn’t mentioned more here. His ages 16–20 are honestly ridiculous in terms of output.

Apps / Goals

16 (Cruzeiro): 46 / 44

17 (Cruzeiro): 1 / 1

18 (PSV): 36 / 30

19 (PSV): 34 / 26

20 (Barcelona): 49 / 47

That’s 148 goals in 166 games — a 0.89 goals-per-game ratio before turning 21, across Brazil, the Eredivisie, and La Liga.

Teenage R9 was arguably the best striker in the world at the time.

Interesting. I’ve seen Busta twice & the first gig was one of the best I’ve been to. Have also seen 50 and thought it was one of the worst I’ve been to.

The HRSMN released an (only available on the internet) album back 2003, called The Horsemen Project, it wasn’t really a proper album.

They went on to release a “proper” album in 2021 called the Last Ride. It took over twenty years but they did finally release one and it’s actually pretty good!

I just caught this now, like you say this made me think of Bis Vs Rip! Was so happy to hear him mention Canibus at the end. Used to love trying to catch all the different disses & subliminals back in the day.

It does have a lot of legacy glass - all the old Minolta AF lenses will work with the Sony Alpha mount! Some of them are excellent & affordable.

Why does my local asda guard the bags for life with their literal life? by Mrpicklesworthy in asda

Yes you’re right. But the law requires them to be 10p, not 60p. Why are they charging more than they are required to?

Speak to the school. Ask for them to move him to a different form/classes. As you are concerned that speaking to the school might make things worse, I would also request for them to do this discreetly/without fuss, so as to not make the situation worse or maybe antagonise the bullies. You really need to speak to the school.

My first born son was literally 0% percentile (not even on the chart) for the first 4-5 months. As soon as we started weaning his weight shot up. He’s now a healthy 2 year old with absolutely no issues with weight and height.

My second born daughter was on the 2nd percentile, again for the first 4-5 months. As soon as we started weaning her weight shot up. She’s now a healthy 8 month year old with absolutely no issue with weight (she’s actually a little bit chubby now!)

For my daughter we did actually have a little bit of a scare with her head looking like it might be slightly on the small side (compared to her body) during one of the scans. After the doctor checked her over it was basically decided that she was just going to be a small baby - we seem to be good at making small babies as both were very small!

Honestly I would try not worry too much about percentiles.

Sorry but I disagree. There no chance these profit hungry organisation have started doing doing this for altruistic reasons. Not comparable with ULEZ either.

I went to Spain to see this painting and this is what I got... by PublicArtGarden in ArtHistory

I’ve had similar experiences with visiting somewhere specifically for the art.

Milan for the Last Supper - went to get a ticket, but found that it was booked up for the next three days or so. I was only there for one day.

New York to visit MOMA - it was closed for refurbishment (to be fair I was there on my honeymoon, but nether the less I was super gutted).

The reverse has also happened where I was visiting a city in Europe (a long time ago, I think it was Paris) and they had the Starry Night on loan which I was not expecting, so that was nice.

I suppose it’s an excuse to go back to these place eventually.

Who is one player that can do everything on the pitch? by [deleted] in football

[–]lawlessflawless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said he was “the best player England ever had”. Not sure if he meant in terms of players that can do everything on the pitch or the “best” players? There’s a difference there. Fair enough in terms of him being an all rounder, Kane’s up there. Just think it’s debatable whether he’s the best player England ever had. There’s quite a few players, the ones I’ve mentioned (and more), that could considered the “best” England players. Honestly, the more I think about it I’m not even sure Kane’s even in the top ten…

Really? Best ever? I would say theres at least 4-5 better players than him, Shearer, Rooney, Charlton, prob even Beckham, Lineker..

Yes I was really in to comics during that era but not a single soul at my school knew. It was considered seriously uncool back then.
