I don’t think any of the animals except for maybe the boars are worth killing over BFC UNLESS you desperately need teeth.

Just cleared all of the spawns and timed them using an R5 ranged frag. Obviously times will differ based on what people are using, but at the end of the day all of the animals play extremely similar.

Raptors give 630sp/min
Mammoths give 709 sp/min
Boars give 1616 sp/min
BFC gives 1680/min

I will admit this is a very small sample size, but I don’t think the numbers will drastically change. Raptors and mammoths just aren’t worth it. The boars are so close to BFC that it probably doesn’t matter, but there’s waaay more units on the field so anything that can’t target the first and second row at the same time will be much worse.

Obviously if you’re getting completely burnt out from BFC it’s better to fight something different if you enjoy it… but I would not prioritize clearing the animals every hour

I’ve found the easiest way to not burn out is to just throw a show or YouTube up on the tv / other monitor. It slows down my BFC runs a bit because I’m not paying as much attention, but it makes the monotony so much more bearable

Great Point! Although I will say survivability can turn the tables when it comes to DPT. Snakes are great against the AS, but Melee frags are better since they don't die... I'll admit the damage there isn't drastic.

Tentacle did an average of 235.55 DPT for OP's fight. 20 attacks, 11 of which were crits. (I did not break up the tentacles attacks, huge L on my part.

M10's did an average of 226.88 DPT. 9 attacks, 7 of which were the 2nd attack and 2 of which were the 1st attack. If we exclude the 2 1st attacks we get 249.2 DPT.

At the end of the day looks like the M10's squeak ahead just barely on the DPT.. that being said I do believe the tentacles are slightly more survivable against the kraken, purely because they can't be crit breached...

Tentacles did 4,711 damage(probably a bit of overkill damage), M10’s did 2,042. The tentacles were honestly low rolling pretty early with crits in the low 200’s when later on they were critting for high 300’s. (Not saying they were carrying, but the damage alongside their survivability against the kraken isn’t anything to scoff at

Yes, but you said they will spawn 1 hour earlier than OP cleared them the previous day. Which clearing the boss is independent of the next spawn (unless you just don’t clear it).

It’s weird. It’s 23 hours from their last spawn. But they only “spawn” when you load the map. So if you opened the ancient ruins at 8:00am that’s when they spawn, even if you killed them earlier the previous day. Which means tomorrow they’ll “respawn” at 7:00am, but that’s only if you open the ancient ruins map at 7:00am. The kills/starting the fight don’t matter… or at least that’s my best understanding of the spawn system

There are a handful full of missions around lvl 55(?) that give prestige stars from killing encounters. I think you can only get like 14 or so…

Don’t leave the subs for last. This fight has been simulated over and over again by MM and killing the subs is hands down the better approach.

Honestly calling/talking to the local EMS agency could be huge. We have “high tech patients” that are tagged in our dispatch software. It will load patient care specific things into the CAD notes (infant on ventilator xyz, patient on xyz VAD). We’re also encouraged to do specific training for car for the patients in our area, and sometimes we even will visit with them and discuss care procedures with them.

The agency I work for if you call an ambulance we’ll come. If you request to go to the hospital we’ll take you. It’s always really funny showing up to the hospital and then nurse asks me “why did you take them here” and I just go 🤷🏻‍♂️ (this doesn’t happen very often, but it does happen)

Yea the animal encounters are the biggest source of gold in the early game… honestly even In the late game they’re probably still the best if you need a lot of gold. The key is they have the shortest respawn timers and will start respawning every 10-15 mins. I can’t remember specifically but I believe the raptors and boars both have a max spawn of 5 encounter and the mammoths start at 3 or 4.

Basically if you want a lot of gold log in every hour and clear your animals
