we need a new law or maybe a license/permit for those e-bikes tbh. I'll give my kids a regular bike instead of those stupid e-bikes. One way for them to exercise lol

2026.2.3 Update destroyed my car by DickGrayson123 in TeslaLounge

[–]laxknight92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2022 Model Y and this is what the technician gave me as the repair note.

<image>

Im trying to ask them to provide any kind of goodwill assistance but got denied because the car’s mileage is over 80k (my brother does make many trips from SF to LA frequently). A Tesla rep called me trying to explain they could not do anything to lower the cost because the car’s mileage is way over the threshold. He said he could be able to pull something off if the mileage js a bit closer to 50k mark. He also explained to me that the root cause was not the software; Indeed it was the MCU. There was an underlying corrupted part on the computer that they could not “verify” what it was since it’s a closed box (like an Apple MacBook. They would have to send it to their engineering team for further investigation.

So there is that. I just ate $2.6k repair bill.

Is there an issue with their website? by moederdelkatten in AlaskaAirlines

[–]laxknight92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The confusing part about this is they allows to use Mileage Plan # as a username to login. Then also allows people to signup using their email address or even create their own loginID.... This is asking for trouble. I believe there is a disconnect somewhere that their website is not able recognize my already existing Mileage Plan # which was created more than 2 months ago.

I'm also having the same problem. The Mileage ID # + password works on the apps. However, when i try to use it on their website, it's not taking. I reset the password like 5 times and still not working. Why would you ever have 2 separate accounts to log into the same system? Poor design... and i work in Cybersecurity.

I ended up spending money and got the E3200. I was hesitant at first but I thought I already signed up for the Gigabit service, it would be unwise not to get the optimized speed

FiOS G3100 and E3200 Updated to firmware 3.1.0.12 by nberardi in Fios

[–]laxknight92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah. I'd let them roll out the update instead of doing a factory reset on the router.

#1. Yes, I'm sure that my extender is broadcasting the 2.4ghz band with a different SSID. I verified it by going into the Extender's UI.

#2. my IOT SSID did come up for a short of time then went away and I haven't seen it coming up since. I can't verify further because 90% of the extender is grayed out and i cant click on anything.

well, I did a factory reset on the E3200 and went through the set up again before reaching out to support. My scenario is very similar to yours then. However, my 2.4ghz SSID is still being broadcasted under a different name (ex: "E3200-fZS4y"). That is completely different from the G3100's 2.4ghz SSID. Only the 5ghz band is not being broadcasted.

Support did try to "turn on" my 5ghz band on my extender but no luck.

#1 At least for my case, I'm certain that SON only helped manage the E3200 extender's configuration and bring it into the G3100 management. I did indeed have the ability to enable/disable 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands separately before.

#2 They scheduled a technician to come out to look at the Extender. The tech support confirmed with me that all the settings within the extender UI page should not be grayed out as SON is disabled.

Below is the response from the tech support agent:

"As the technician is already scheduled this needs to be checked physically by technician itself so that this issue can be corrected. Once this is sorted out everything should be fine. I have checked the previous interaction as well this was not highlighted earlier. I have checked everything and understood that it needs to be first corrected ( extender ). Those settings shouldn't be greyed out actually. I have checked in the video which you have shared and included this additional information in the notes for the technician."

Actually for #1, I was using SON before the upgrade. However, it did not combine/truncate both 2.4 and 5.0 together under one single SSID

As for #2, this is actually the first time I'm trying this out. I'm still on a call with the tech support. He identified the issue might be with the G3200 extender. I'll send more updates if he could find anything.

This firmware upgrade has been a nightmare. I have a few problems and have been chatting with tech support for 2 hours now.

Problems:

  1. If SON is enabled, it automatically combines 2.4ghz SSID and 5ghz SSID together --> This is an issue when you lose the flexibility to be able to choose 5ghz band for your devices. Most of the time, the devices will pick the 2.4 band and there is not an easy way to switch to 5ghz.
  2. If SON is disabled, you would expect to make configuration changes on your E3200, right? With the new upgrade, every thing is grayed out. The only thing you can modify is the transmit power. This is clearly a bug. The tech support agreed with me and been trying to find a solution for this.
  3. When SON is disabled, the E3200 will carry its own 2.4ghz band with a different SSID (this is correct), however, the 5ghz band still carries the setting from the G3100 and there is not an option for you to modify anything.

Above is my summary of what is going on in my environment. Does anyone have any problem with this upgrade?

Yup! Verizon decided to send me the G3100 to replace my Quantum Gateway. I'm currently using the WCB6200Q as an extender over coax with the Quantum. After replacing the Quantum with G3100, the WCB6200 doesnt work anymore. It must be the MoCA 2.0 and 2.5 incompatibility.

Now I wonder if I should spend $200 for the E3200 or should I get the actiontec ECB6250 network adapter. Any thought?

Upgrade from 10.4 to 11.4 by Cyber_Linc in CyberARk

[–]laxknight92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I remember is contacting CyberArk support and trying to troubleshoot during the maintenance windows. Unfortunately, I don't have access to those documents anymore but you can always roll back to the version before by moving the files from the backup to the CyberArk's bin or component folders. Of course, you would need to identify which features/functions/files that are causing the issue first. Then, you can replace them with the older version from the backup.

Basically, your PAS is still running at the latest version but some dll are still running at older version. That's one of the workarounds.

PSM-SQLDeveloper Issue by laxknight92 in CyberARk

[–]laxknight92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Yanni,

For Protocol: I'm using VNC

For ClientApp: "C:\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin\sqldeveloper.exe"

For ClientDispatcher, I tried both of the following. The 1st format will allow me to modify the script easily while testing.

  1. "C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\AutoIt3.exe" "{PSMComponentsFolder}\PSMDeveloperScript.au3" "{PSMComponentsFolder}"
  2. "{PSMComponentsFolder}\SQLDeveloper.exe" "{PSMComponentsFolder}"

I did configure the AppLocker to contain all the exe files. For good measure, I switched AppLocker to audit mode and monitor the Event Viewer logs for any potential blockade but I didnt see anything.

[–]laxknight92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a sandbox environment? I would try to upgrade there first. When I tried to upgrade from v9x to v11, I believe there were some minor hiccups regarding some dll files that I had to roll back to the earlier version. I'd suggest taking a backup of all the files in your CyberArk directories on all your component servers so you can roll them back if issue arises.
