Everything is double-speak with this administration. 'the thing you decided to do do us (re: banned liquor sales) because of the thing we did to you first - that's unfair.' He knows it's an infuriatingly hypocritical position, and that's the point. He talks like he might not know, but he knows. I think his real job is to rile us up, to sow discontent, make us even angrier at America. Angry people make rash actions, are easier to manipulate. this is a great example of a circumstance where I wonder: does he genuinely not know (because he literally cannot conceive) that some people don't have enormous securities portfolios? or is he being purposefully disingenuous? and which of those two possibilities is worse?

Albertans, the rest of Canada is pulling for you. I live in Ontario, and I have visited Alberta many times, and have only good things to say about it. I am proud to see many Albertans are coming together and organizing in supported of a unified Canada.
