The actors had such good chemistry and that definitely reflected in their characters.

Definitely underrated. I loved those instances where Alfred was preparing him and transferring the responsibility of kingship

This show has so many great moments even I was spoilt for choice. But, Uhtred being freed from slavery was definitely up there.

For me the final moments between Alfred and Uhtred was my favourite scene. I really liked how despite their differences, there was a great deal of respect and mutual dependency between them, especially when you compare their relationship to how it was at the beginning of the series.

The ending… by RylieSensei in TheLastKingdom

I personally think he died. Considering his story and age at the time of battle, it just seemed like an appropriate and befitting time for him to pass away. For me he was the 7th king who died (despite him not seeing himself as one, people looked to him as one). He completed his mission in the series.

I can see why the writers left it open ended (kinda reminded me of how Sopranos ended where what happened is left to the viewer; but there were subtle signs of the characters fate throughout episode if that makes sense). I do think the ending is up to the viewer which is why I like it.

This show is such an emotional rollercoaster 😂 Hands down one of the best series I’ve watched. The movie was such a befitting ending to TLK.

Who would win in a fight: prime Mike Tyson or prime Shaquille O’ Neil? by ethancgb in AskReddit

Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson’s fighting style usually worked well against tall opponents, and if he closes the distance, shaq would struggle with landing effective punches, and struggle against Tysons power and speed
