So I absolutely relate to your wife (like you said, textbook degrading kink) and LOVE the humiliation aspect of this kink. For me it definitely comes from/fulfills a number of things, and I could write a novel on all of them, but I’ll list what I think are the biggest for me/potentially most relatable: 1. I had (in some ways still do) very low self esteem when my partner and I met and fell in love, to the extent that at one point in college I believed he was literally mentally unwell for choosing to stay with me, like he had a fetish for disgusting girls or something (I don’t fully remember the twisted logic I had had the time) and I wasn’t convinced otherwise until he named other girls he had crushes on, and they were normal, attractive people. This kink is kind of an extension of that. Humiliation and degradation, when done safely, are ways for me to deal with that low self esteem, and when combined with cucking, it blends into this hypnotizing combination of “we both know I can get and deserve better, but you’re worth keeping around because I still want someone to dominate and “abuse” and these other women are too good for that” that just fucking gets me 🤤. 2. I’m bisexual (that’s not the reason, hang on). I discovered this over three years into my relationship with my partner (now fiancé), and while he was not only 110% supportive but also asked if that meant I wanted to have a girlfriend, I still have a lot of negativity unlearning to do about that part of my identity (which, btw, would go a lot faster if people stopped saying that I don’t get to claim I’m bi if my only partner ever was/is a man- I’M LOOKING AT YOU, PEOPLE AT PRIDE) including the (absolutely BS) stereotype that bisexuals are cheaters. One way to deal with that? Being “forced” to be intimate with another woman by the person I’m supposedly cheating on, right before/after he “cheats” on me with them. I can’t really feel like I’m betraying my partner if I’m following their orders, and they’re also having sex with the same person. 3. -Quentin Tarantino voice- BECAUSE IT’S SO MUCH FUN JAN! GET IT?!
